This café is a nice different experience to dine out with friends as they are a café/nursery. They also have a kids playground and lake so very child friendly. I went on Fathers Day and it was a set menu. The food was delicious but it was extremely noisy with a huge line to order. I think it would be great on a regular weekend though and I look forward to going back when not so busy.
Yum! I went here on the weekend for a hens day and it was lovely. The platters were divine and presented very well. The pizza's were different and delicious. Its a lovely restaurant away from the hustle and bustle. Perfect for a nice getaway for lunch with friends over a glass of wine.
These cupcakes are amazing. The quality is 5 star. We have ordered these for our annual awards night for the past 5 years and the quality has never faltered. They actually have taste and are presented wonderful. I cant wait to place an order for my wedding!
This pet store is huge. The prices are a bit expensive and some of the stock is quite dusty as though its been sitting around for ages but its a great place to take the kids to show them all the animals. They have lots of reptiles and spiders etc. The variety is fantastic. The staff are friendly but you often have to approach one for assistance.
YUM! This is the best Fish n Chips in Scoresby. The staff are friendly and the food is fresh.
Highly recommend this Fish n Chips over the other one in Scoresby.
If you wish to dine in they have plenty of tables set up too!
Metro cinemas is great value. Ticket price and the candy bar are great prices. I cant justify going to regular cinemas paying $22 a ticket when metro only costs $12.50. You can join up as a member for only $20 (annual fee) and entry then only costs $8. Its never packed so a great seat is always guaranteed. I much prefer to support Metro Cinema over Village/Hoyts.
Approximate cost: $12.50
YUM! Dragon Boat Yum Cha Express is amazing! This is the smaller restaurant located next to the main one. You can order yum cha items straight off the menu so they come out hot and fresh. Prawn dumplings are delishious and they serve the best curry laksa I've ever had! The prices are reasonable and if you are lucky enough to be served by the gentleman 'johnny' you will be in for a laugh.
Approximate cost: $11
The take away here I wouldn't advise getting but the fine in good is amazing. So hot and fresh, give it a go! The service is a bit lacking but they are friendly enough, maybe just short staffed at times.
I find the other reviews on Brother Johns very surprising. This restaurant is run by an extremely old couple who've owned it for years. I find them delightful! They make the scones on site fresh daily. They are so yum, it's lovely to go for a Devonshire tea with a friend to relax. They old couple let you walk around and see the property out the back - be sure to ask about their goat. Lovely couple and lovely experience.
The ladies at Lisa Maree's are all very friendly and give great hair advice. If you're looking for a new hairdresser they are definitely worth giving a shot. The salon is modern and comfortable. The prices are very competitive too.
