Thumbs up to these two ladies for a decent price and prompt service- the main reason i go there is for a medicure on the odd occasion that i might be going to a wedding. Getting my nails done is a luxury i can rarely afford which is why i go to these ladies when i do need them done- i can afford to see them. The major downfall here is that they constantly speaking their own language to one another and pretty much ignoring their clientele. I have even attempted to chat to them myself but they are not interested and i really believe they do know enough English to interact at least a little bit but they can't be bothered which is disappointing. Shop could also do with a good clean.

A clinic run by a husband and wife team which is nice and local for me personally. I find they are pretty on time with appointments. I see the wife and she has been fantastic to deal with- spot on with diagnosis and fairly down to earth and friendly for a doctor. Have been going here for a couple of years and will happily continue to do so for many more.

There are a variety of good but not great cakes at the Cheesecake shop. Ten out of ten for affordability though. I love baking my own birthday cakes and what is great about this place is you can buy a slab of chocolate with a personal message on it for just $5. Certainly beats fiddling around and making your own.

A very nice patisserie- the standout here are their lemon tarts which are perfectly tart- not too lemony. A bit pricey but if you want great quality then these guys are worth visiting. A little stiff service wise but still fairly friendly.

Love it here- great for wrapping paper and cards. I also love that i can give my young son $5 and he can feel all independant by buying lots of bits and pieces for himself- the excitement on his face is priceless. Much better quality items here than your average discount and variety shops.

This review is for Target, Greensborough VIC

You really cannot fault Target. Not somewhere i was too fond of before having children but when you have a family it's the best place to shop. With a baby and toddler in tow, it's too hard to try clothing on so i grab what i think looks nice off the rack, go to the comfort of my own home and try it on then i return what doesn't work. Sounds dodgy i know but it's very difficult to buy things with children it tow. So i love their returns policy- it's super handy.

This review is for Shiki Japanese Restaurant, Greensborough VIC

First time to dine Japanese but the friends i dined with have had a bit of experience and were impressed. We ordered a set menu which we simply could not eat all of. For a meagre $27, we began with the tofu and mushroom soup (please don't ask me to name these dishes for you:-(), followed by California rolls accompanied with pickled ginger which was a nice touch, followed by vegetarian spring rolls and pork dumplings. I only tasted the spring rolls which were wonderful, my friends loved the dumplings. Then we had vegetable and prawn Tempura, followed by a chicken dish which was accompanied by a cabbage salad. Then came green tea ice-cream, finished with green tea. Makes you full just reading it doesn't it?

This review is for La Porchetta, Greensborough VIC

La Porchetta is a franchise and the service and food vary vastly from suburb to suburb. The Greensborough located La Porchetta is of a good standard. Pizza here is good value for money. We eat vegetarian and our particular favourite is the Focaccia Ripiena with semi dried tomatoes- great value for money. Desserts are cheap compared to other places and actually very nice tasting- lots of dessert specials whenever we go in. What i love about La Porchetta is it always a family in a tight budget a good night out. Staff are sometimes great and sometimes ok, it just depends on who you get.

We had steak here which was not of a very high standard. The service was good, much better than most and dessert was as expected. A bit over priced for the overall dining experience.

This review is for Pinarbasi Restaurant, Coburg VIC

We have been dining at Pinarbasi for years. Having tried practically every other Turkish restaurant on Sydney Road, i can tell you from personal experience that Pinarbasi is the best hands down. The dips are wonderful, the bread even better and the meats are tender and full of flavour. We tried to go once on a Monday or Tuesday night (can't remember which exact day) and they were closed, so we went to another Turkish Restaurant, we seriously could not eat the food, it was truly disgusting and an absolute waste of money. I love Pinarbasi and will continue to go there for as long as they stay open for.
