Great Lebanese pastry shop in Dulwich Hill. Very fresh sweets and a good variety to meet anyones sweet tooth. Reasonably priced. You can choose to eat in or take away. The decor isn't anything fancy, but the sweets make up for it!!
Great, fresh little butcher shop in West Ryde. Very friendly service and fresh meat. You can even pick up some already mixed Lebanese Kofta to cook at home. Only a small display of meats in store, but they are more than happy to assist if you are after something else.
Family run automotive workshop and petrol station in Eastwood. Very friendly service and reasonable prices and usually offer petrol at a couple cents cheaper than other places (though only a few petrol bowsers on site).
Probably one of the best pies and sausage rolls in Sydney! Made fresh on premises along with cakes. They close early and sell out quickly, but you can buy take away packs to stick in the fridge of mini pies etc.
Nice little cafe situated next door to the post office in Eastwood. Family run business offering cakes and coffee. They have a few tables outside and inside. Can get a little noisy as they are situated near traffic lights. Friendly staff.
Nice and big well designed store. They have just stocked a new section with clothing, offering up to date styles at a reasonable price (bonus for the mums who now can shop for clothes aswell as groceries!). Parking outside can get a bit busy, but it's a large car park. Good specials.
One of the bigger stores in the area. The bakery section is well packed and the aisles are nice and big. Drop in later in the evening and they reduce all their baked in store breads and buns (you can save up to $2.00 on each item). Can get very busy and the carpark is quite small downstairs, but you'll always manage to find parking.
Great Family owned business offering a range of automotive services and repairs. Fair quotes every time I've been and friendly service. Quite a busy place so if possible best to call in to book the service you might need ahead of time.
Trendy little cafe that's been a popular meeting place for many for years on Glebe. Unique mixed cuisine menu which is popular with vegetarians, vegans and diners with special dietry needs. Good coffee and cakes. Seating available indoors and a few tables outdoors (hard to secure one though!). Prices aren't too steep considering it's a popular spot. Has been the "IN" place to dine in Glebe for years, worth a stop for a meal and coffee.
Approximate cost: $16.50
Nice little pizzeria in the heart of Katoomba's shopping villiage. Nice and cosy for eat in dining on a winters night and pretty descent pizza's (little bland at times, but fresh ingredients.) The wait for pick up can take a little long sometimes, but all round worth a try atleast once.
