There's such a friendly atmosphere here - the staff are friendly & fun, the food is fantastic, & there's a real community spirit here. Their chicken parmigiana & gnocchi dishes is absolutely delicious, and the prices match.
Approximate cost: $15
Ray is a really good, creative mechanic when it comes to Land Rovers. I have been taking my 2004 Discovery to him for 2 years, & now that I have moved interstate, I have realized how reliable & cheap he is. He sources new parts at quarter of the price of the dealers, to keep the overall costs down, & he keeps you informed so that you know how much it will cost & have a choice. Ray does excellent work & is a friendly guy who just happens to be a pro when it comes to Rovers. We wish there were others like him.
My first session with Denise was life changing. She was so talented & intuitive & I felt very safe to explore some of my issues with her. It was a very healing & grounding experience & I feel so free to redefine myself & my new potential. I recommend this experience to anyone who wants to change the direction of their life & heal themselves from the inside out.
My husband took me there for our wedding anniversary & it was a delightful experience. It was intimate & romantically lit, & we overlooked the Brisbane river which was magical at night. And the food - it was exquisite! Their pork & grain fed eye fillet is divine, & the lemon curd tart was nice (but not to the same quality as their mains). Definately a memorable experience.
I had all of my expensive hang up clothes crushed in a house move I did, so I took all my clothes to Tolemans to get cleaned. They did such a wonderful job & restored my clothes back to their wearable state. I was so impressed with the timeframe they did it in as well, including my wedding dress which came up as new.
I bought a lavender wheat bag at the Melbourne Markets & I am so happy with it. In summer, I put it in the freezer & use it as a cold pack in the same way I use it as a hot pack in winter. I love it, especially when I have a sore back or stomache aches - it's bliss.
Pure has the best range of classes that I've ever seen! When I went there with a friend, we didn't know where to start - there was pilates, yoga, boxing, skipping, dancing & so much more. It's a great environment, very nurturing & fresh. I definately recommend the yoga, it's a fantastic workout, & I'm looking forward to going back & trying out more classes & workouts.
I went to Mooch after receiving a $20 off introductory offer in the mail. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly service, their trading hours which seem to go quite late for workers, & they had massage recliners for washing hair at the basin - that was fantastic! They also sold jewellery & art on their walls, & clothes on sale too. It was a very eclectic mix.
We were first introduced to Superbowl when friends had us meet them there for dinner - the food was the real deal, it was quick, fresh & all the staff wrote our orders in chinese - it was a fun, cultural experience. We've since ordered takeaways from there, which are just as good, although parking on the street is hard to find.
Jade Buddha has such a beautiful atmosphere, it's welcoming & casual, while their food is very gourmet (with prices to match), & the view over the Brisbane river is lovely in the late afternoon.
