Paul and Marie were very friendly and accommodating. I have recently been diagnosed as diabetic and my food choices feel very limited, but they worked with me to make a wrap that fit my needs and was so good! My husband enjoyed his wrap as well. The even make a good cuppa that I could drink without sugar! Don't get to this side of town often, but when we do, we will be having lunch here! They are even doing catering so that is another possibility. Stop in - you won't be disappointed!

Authentic French food in a quaint little setting. Dining area inside is quite small, but they are expanding! Eat in, feel like you are transported - everyone working is French, French music! Carry out, catering and exclusive events also available! There is also French wines, breads, and French pantry foods available for sale! We'd love longer hours and a bigger space but then it might not feel quite so authentic! Keep up the good work!

Split system installed - steep second story job - another firm wanted scaffolding but owner did not feel it was necessary and that saved $500! They were quick, clean, polite and well skilled. I told them to do my job as well as they would for their own mother and he said, "I'll do better than that - I'll do the job as if was my own house." Not only did they arrive on time and do the job very well, leaving us feeling very satisfied, they even took the trash with them! Great job Daniel!

We were here waiting for our meals. We had a party of 6. 3 meals were delivered after 30 minutes. One of those meals had a clod of dirt in salad. We took it to management and we're told, "Sorry. We will bring you a new one." That replacement meal arrived before the other 3 meals arrived. After waiting an hour, our meals were thrown on the table. The food was plentiful but the service and attitude need an over haul. We will not be back.

We have been in for lunch and enjoyed a really great and very unique meal. consisting of Manti and a Smoked Salmon Salad. The Manti is a pasta with a tomato and beef sauce topped with yoghurt and a touch of mint. Sounded strange to me but it was fantastic! The salad was chock-a-block full of salmon, so much so it was impossible to just have greens without a piece of salmon. The dressing was a light creamy dressing with just a hint of garlic. The cake we had for desert, Cookies and Cream Cheesecake was out of this world and a very generous portion. The coffee, served in mugs was made to perfection after a small error which was corrected immediately. They even have a frequent buyers coffee card and currently a promotion to win a free meal weekly for a year. Out back they have a lovely area where there are shisha (hooka) pipes available with crushed fruit tobacco for a small fee. We didn't try the pipes but the smell was fantastic. This is a family owned business and they really care about their customers enjoying their business. It is well worth the trip to Chelsea to give this a try. Very comfortable, friendly, relaxing and the food is amazing! Since we live nearby, this will become a frequent favourite with extra stops just for the coffee!

I must admit this was a disappointment. I was the first to review Wild Dog on WOMOW and gave them all 5's for the first visit. We went last night for Valentine's Day dinner and we were dismayed. We sat for more than 10 minutes without anyone coming to our table to even fill our water glasses. After at least 10 minutes, we had to summon someone to our table. The server came to our table empty handed and asked us what we wanted! They left to go and get water that was barely cool. There was a piece of paper under the plates with selections for the Valentine Special, 4 courses for $65.0 per person. The first item was a Starter to "Share" with 2 choices, the Entree had 3 choices, the Main had 3 choices followed by a Palate Cleanser and there were 2 choices for dessert. A glass of wine was also included (as it should have been - this is after all a winery!). You were given a choice of 2 whites and 1 red. The red was a Cab Sav/Shiraz blend. We ONLY drink Cab Sav and were told if we wanted Cab Sav we would have to buy a bottle, produced at this winery, apart from the meal. This winery makes a fine Cab/Sav. Surely there was a bottle from tasting open or they could have opened one. We weren't looking for a free bottle or a $100 bottle, just the Cab/Sav that would be offered in the cellar door. No price was given for the bottle, but we said we would pay for it. I walked to the shelves in the cellar door after the wine was delivered to our table to get the price - $23 - reasonable; however, no discount was offered on the bottle and no recompense for the "complimentary" glass. In fact we were charged $33 on our bill for the $23 bottle of wine, presumably because we consumed it on the premises! The food itself was quite good, but the portions were miniscule. As we paid the bill, which came to $163.00 due to our additional bottle of wine (charged $33 instead of $23), we informed them that I was the first reviewer of Wild Dog on WOMOW and gave them my reviewer name. The reply was "Thank you." They are now offering a WOMO discount which according to the manager must be booked in advance by signing up somewhere or something like that and would not give us any of the discount. Not very good customer relations to encourage us to return. The Faulty Towers show I mentioned in my first review will be returning, but we will not attend. I stand by the cleanliness of the place and the pleasant surroundings. The bottle of wine that we had to buy was satisfactory, but we are pretty upset we were charged the additional $10. The food was good but very little of it - so little that we stopped at McDonald's for a burger on the way home. This was a 90 minute drive each way for us that we won't be making again. As this is a "5 star" business I am sure I will be asked to review my issues with Wild Dog and see if the issues can be resolved, but as we spoke with them about this before leaving and told them this review would be posted, there is no point in discussing this with them. This review will stand.

This review is for Tarra Valley Caravan Park - Fernholme, Tarra Valley VIC

While we didn't stay in the caravan park on this visit (under new ownership as of 8 months ago), we did stop for a coffee and a sandwich. The light lunch was great and the store is stocked with some really nice new souvenirs. The former owners were friendly enough, but the new owners made us feel welcome and treated us as if we were long-time friends even though we had never met! Long time resident Jo Jo (the cockatoo) even seemed to remember us from a visit over a year ago! Being able to sit outside near the river, in the back garden or on the front terrace are all really nice options as well. The birds were active and they gave us even more to enjoy. We like going to the Tarra Valley and often camp - next time we will be camping here! The caravan park is also dog friendly which is a real bonus as we don't often travel without our 4-legged daughter! Really looking forward to our next visit.

I must admit, I haven't been to this business in about 9 months so I am not sure when the "under new management" happened. I am not eager to return though either based on the first and most basic of tenants. Clean cutlery :-( We went in for a coffee and watched a family with children at a table adjacent to us. The children played with the cutlery while the parents had a coffee. When they left, the server came to wipe off the table and as it didn't appear the cutlery had been used, she wiped around it and reset the table using the same dirty cutlery the children had been playing with. I was aghast. I mentioned it to the server at the time and got a nasty retort. I was very disappointed as I enjoy frequenting businesses locally. I did notice all the tables were preset and from that moment on, I decided if I ever go into an establishment with preset tables that I will ask for fresh cutlery. I also tried to find some food handling regulation regarding the cutlery and was unable to find any. We have since and it is a code violation - the cutlery must be replaced. I hope that if this is new management, they have revised their policy and by reply here state so, I would try them again.
PS I was forced to give a "value rating" which I would have preferred not to do as I don't feel I have an accurate opinion on the value of the food.

The variety in this store is excellent. I have been told it is a family owned and operated business for now the second generation. Upon entering, you will be greeted warmly and you will receive undivided attention. You can get shoes for just about any occasion from casual sandals and trainers to school shoes right through to evening shoes and wedding shoes. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable about what they have in the store which saves you lots of time searching. Tell them what colour and the occasion and they will provide you with lots of choices or you can browse for yourself. Really a fantastic shoe shopping experience. I have been here 3 or 4 times now and have gotten consistent service and quality. My wedding shoes as well as wedding shoes for my daughter, dress shoes for my husband, and most recently Skechers for me as well as a pair of shoes to wear for a fancy dress night on the town at the Titanic Dinner Theatre. I was looking for a pair of vintage 1912 shoes and Peter found me a perfect pair of lace up heels. Did I mention great service??? I hate to shop for shoes - too many choices - but I wasn't flooded or overwhelmed here because of the great service!

This review is for The Bear House Restaurant, Cranbourne VIC

I am amazed that I think we have found what I would call "the best" and then I find another that either matches or surpasses what I thought was the best. I really liked The Bear House for several reasons, the stand out about the rest for cleanliness. The restaurant was bright, clean and cheerful. It felt bright and clean because while low lights are often romantic, sometimes low lights hide cobwebs on ceiling fans, etc. This place couldn't have been any cleaner! The owner, Dave, speaks to all the guests. The service was impeccable, polite and dare I say professional, but very friendly and gave me a feeling of family. The food was fantastic and a range of all kinds of nationalities including Asian, Spanish, Vietnamese, very chic and international. I was only very slightly off put by 2 things - the tables are a bit close together so intimate conversation might have to be postponed. The second things are numbers on the table, similar to a cafe or serve yourself type pub, but both of the things are easily overlooked with the service and food. We had Ciabatta bread with Apple Balsamic and Dukkah, Salt and Papper Squid dusted with 5 Spice on Asian Salad and nam jim dressing, Roasted eggplant and bocconcini stack with tomato sugo, Spanish Paella served with prawns, chicken, black mussel, pipies, and chorizo and green peas with Sticky Date Pudding with Butter Scotch Sauce and Double Cream. Wine was a Blue Pyrenees Cabernet Sauvignon (2010). Really really good and I look forward to going back again! Bookings essential for evening meals.
