Looking for a present for my grandson was going to be frustrating, however there was a good range here and price that I could afford. The time to be served was a joke. Hopefully it was a one off.

A very impressive array of goods to make eating a delight, catering for all cuisines and price brackets. The staff are very helpful and can suggest different types of meal using their goods.

If you are in the market for items where quality is not important and price is everything, this is the place to go. I found a huge variety of goods which were as "cheap as chips".
Approximate cost: $50
I only go to do a little shopping at Woolies as I find that their prices are a lot dearer than their competitors in most items, including when they are on special. Being on a strict budget forces me to be very concious of money and if I did all my shopping there, I would eat for 3 nights per fortnight. Only go there if you know you will save money and have the time to get through the checkout.
Approximate cost: $60
I always hate shopping day, however by spending my money at Foodland, I have a sense of pleasure knowing I have got the best value for money. Whilst very congested, it is due to the high number of customers, obviously driven by the same feeling.
Approximate cost: $100
The staff are always very pleasant, however I find that a lot of the lines of groceries are poorly stocked. A few of the items are well priced however it is often cheaper elsewhere on some lines.

When funds are tight and time is short, I felt that it was best to go to a big store to get my little items. It didn't matter to the staff how much I was spending, I was still treated like a valued customer.
Approximate cost: $35
They had a good range of products so I could choose the particular gift that was right for me and was at the best price. Worth the trip in there on such a hot day.
Approximate cost: $60
Staff were most helpful in explaining a products features and capabilities to match it to an old video recorder I have, in the knowledge that on a pension, funds are limited
Approximate cost: $80
A pleasure to spend my valued dollars on purchasing a product that I was not fully aware of and the salesman asked the right questions to match the product to my needs, ensuring I got value for money.
