had my eyebrows waxed here once, staff were quite chatty which was great (i always found waxing appointments awkward when it's too silent)
the place was quite quaint, had my eyebrows done upstairs (didn't even know they had an upstairs - it seemed like mink used to be a house which i found quite cool and adorable) also convenient location close to the tram stop and 7 eleven in case i got the munchies lol
Approximate cost: $10
had a quick visit here with some friends a couple of weeks ago, i found it quite pricey (especially after dinner we thought we'd spend 15 dollars tops for a coffee and cake) but oh man the service was exceptional! loved the staff! great ambience inside and out too :D
Approximate cost: $20
have been here for a couple of friday nights, older demographic but music's pretty decent - it's free entry so that's always a plus :D
it's a regular go-to place for a lot of people so you end up seeing some familiar faces the more often you visit
great location, lots of seating
Approximate cost: $10
had my first ever brow wax here a couple of days ago, staff were amazing and service was great - don't know if price was worth the value (as i don't know how much they usually cost) but it's worth mentioning their rewards card, which is a great incentive :D
Approximate cost: $27
one thing that stood out for this cafe is the serice - it's nothing short of perfect! all the staff are friendly and prompt :D
amazing location, cute atmosphere
ordered their pumpkin and caramelised onion sandwich and their chocolate cheesecake - absolutely loved both dishes, and paid $13.50 for both
Approximate cost: $20
love their opening hours, it's usually where we go after a night out - we're always at the bottom level, have yet to explore the top level (which from what i've been hearing is pretty decent)
pizzas are greasy, which is why it's a popular postclubbing place - but still pretty delicious
great and convenient location, would be great if it looked a bit cleaner
also am a massive fan of the little corner where all the brochures and flyers are
Approximate cost: $5
our friday night go-to club, mainly because of the free entry (and 90s night, which is sure to please)
not a fan of the massive lines, but like the general demographic in the club (usually uni students)
like the open air area outside and the couches - which is always useful when you need a break after dancing
Approximate cost: $5
a personal go-to place in lygon street, mainly because cafe notturno's one of the more affordable restaurants in the area
massive restaurant so lots of seating, booked in a reservation for 15 people and it wasn't a massive hassle, great location too - pretty central on lygon street
am a massive fan of their pastas and pizzas, there's a lot of variety available
toilet's hard to find though
Approximate cost: $20
great value food, am an absolute massive fan of the top up drinks, alright location, great parking
we'd usually go here sunday nights just to celebrate the end the week, i like the fact that it's not too busy
great for an after-movie munch, nice location and decent service
absolutely love their periperi chips! definitely my favourite!
also love how they're next to cold rock, so dessert's no hassle as well
