The place to go to buy all the best dried fruit. The shop is also attached to the factory. There is also a something for everyone with a selection of jams, spreads, sweets and chocolates to buy. It's a bit of a shame though that this company is no longer Australian Owned but owned by a Chinese company.
Best place to shop to buy teddy bears or beanie kids as they have a large range at good prices. Also great for buying Christmas presents all year round as the christmas shop is part of this business. The staff are great and very friendly.
The shop is chocolate heaven. They have so many different flavoured bite sized chocolates to choose from it makes it hard to decide what to pick. You just want to try them all. The chocolates are delicious although some I tried were not to my liking but were to my wifes. Service was great and friendly and she didn't get annoyed at the fact we spent so long deciding what to get.
The service here is not to shabby at all. The pasta here was really creamy and tasty. It's also good to buy gelati here then stroll down the road to the Brighton Beach jetty.
I love the lobethal bakery. It's a must whenever you drive into the Adelaide Hills particularly when you go to see the Lobethal Lights at Christmas time.
There pies and sausage rolls are just the best, along with their donuts and meringues. All the other sweets look delicious too.
The pies here are quite nice and very meaty and the place is in a nice location. However the prices are rather high for their pies and not a place I would go on a regular basis.
The coffee here is one of the best and tastes fantastic. It's all fairtrade and organic and the prices are really cheap too. The owner is very friendly and loves a gander.
Approximate cost: $3 Coffee
I nice little cafe serving desert waffles, liege waffles and even waffle sandwiches. The owner is really fantastic, very friendly and loves to chat with you. The waffles look amazing covered in chocolate, icecream and whatever else takes your fancy. However, I found the taste of the waffles themselves to be a little bland with no real wow factor. The prices are decent for what you get and are a good treat to have after watching the footy at Etithad Stadium.
Approximate cost: $7.90
Fantastic place to stay in a breathtaking location. The place is located away from the main town near the beach. The views of the ocean are amazing. There is a creek that runs through the property along with wetlands and the front. Facilities are amazing and what you would expect froma 5 star resort.
Accomadation ranges from luxurious 5 star villas to camping facilities. We camped here the night for just $35 and that provides access to ALL facilites including: heated pool, sauna, spa, gym, tennis courts, games room and even a jumping air pillow. The camp kitchen has stove tops, ovens, microwaves and fridges. Toilets are massive and luxurious as they can be. Service is also fantastic.
Another thing about this property is at dusk you'll must likely see wombats wandering about.
The fries here are awesome. They are fresh everytime and really well cooked and taste awesome. The owner is really nice and loves to have a chat to you while the food is cooking.
