We used Go West Tours and went on the Phillip Island Day Tour. For $125, we visited the Amazing Australian Garden, breathtaking journey through a journey of water, the Phillip Island Chocolate Factory, Panny's Amazing World of Chocolate, the Nobbies, Koala Conservation Centre, strolled through the boardwalks and the Penguin Parade! They provide a fantastic service and awesome commentary and music on the bus ride the whole way. Not only that, on the way back, they provided each of us with a PSP and watched a bundle of movies. WOW I am definitely going to try their other tours soon!

We participated in the Half Day Dolphin and Straddie Tour during the heart of Summer in sunny Gold Coast. We paddled across the tranquil waters of the Gold Coast keeping an eye out for Dolphins, Turtles and Stingrays. We visited two of our secluded islands, had delicious continental breakfast on the beach and snorkelled with hundreds of sub-tropical fish off Wavebreak Island. After that, we paddled to South Stradbroke Island and enjoyed a stroll across to one of the best surfing beaches in the world. The tour costed only $85 p/p and they provided free hotel pickup and return. Awesome service and value if you ask me!

We visited Hotel Watermark during our stay in Gold Coast and boy, were their facilities excellent! They are nestled at the very heart of Australia's favourite holiday destination. Definitely one of the newest luxury hotels on the Gold Coast leading the change from traditional hotel accommodation to a complete entertainment and relaxation experience with 5 star guest service. They have a lagoon shaped pool and river view entertainment terrace, spa, gymnasium, modern Italian style Amalfi Bistro and Wine Bar, Club Watermark executive lounge serving complimentary breakfast and refreshing pre-dinner beverages with canapés, L'Aqua Day Spa and 5 new function rooms.

Genuine Thai cuisine for great value! The chef cooks everything freshly right in front of your eyes and the menu items are to die for! Great to go there for lunch or dinner. Mmm yum, in fact I'm craving for some Thai Yim right now.

This review is for Four Paws Dog Obedience, Glen Waverley VIC

Four Paws Dog Obedience was recommended to us by our veterinary clinic. The trainer Dennis, is fanastic at what he does and is really dedicated to his role. He is always more than happy to speak with you about any doggie problem areas you may have and always has a solution! His prices are also very reasonable (compared to the other ones out there) and his training times are very flexible. In fact, he has classes running every day of the week! He remembers your name AND your dog's name. That's service for you, provided that he runs more than 7 classes a week! Call Four Paws now! I highly recommend it! I have already recommended Dennis to my best friend and she also loves how personable he is :)

The best value pet store in the area! I am overwhelmed at the price of supplies here compared to everywhere else! They have a huge range of products for all critters big and small and provide fantastic service! Whenever you buy treats for your best friends, they'll always give you a sample of some other treats to try. The first time I went there, I was shocked to find the Gentle Leader sold for $20! A few months ago, I bought the same product at Pets Paradise for $49.95! What a joke!

We needed to hire a bin for garden waste removal so we called around and found Busy Bin Hire. They quoted the cheapest prices around, in fact, at least 25% cheaper!

This review is for Sakura Japanese Restaurant, Glen Waverley VIC

verified email - 07 May 2009

A small cosy Japanese restaurant owned and operated by Chinese people. Unfortunately, the food is not close to being authentic. I have been there quite a few times, not because the food was great but because of their convenient location whenever I had a craving for Japanese. Once I ordered their Sukiyaki Beef to share and asked for NO BEANSHOOTS as my fellow diner-friend is allergic. What did they do? Cram as much of it in as they can. Then when I repeated my request to them nicely, they simply went in the kitchen and removed the beanshoots which has been stewing in the sukiyaki the whole time. When the food was returned to us it was cold. I tried again to explain to them that my friend is "allergic" to beanshoots which means he can't come into contact with it at all. The staff and management did not apologise for their error or even try to make an effort to rectify the situation. It wasn't even busy so they really had no excuse. I was extremely disappointed and embarrassed I bought my friend there. I never went back since.

This review is for Red Box Karaoke, Glen Waverley VIC

Red Box Karaoke Lounge is a small karaoke bar located in the heart of Glen Waverley. It is a nice little place with a small lounge and about 10 private rooms. I wouldn't say the service is good, but for $25-35 per person (price covers food/drink you order), its quite reasonable for a full night of fun. They have nice big plasmas and sound systems are average. Overall, I'll give 3 stars for some good singalong fun.
