I found this place quite by accident. I attended a seminar that interested me for just $20 and every quarter they send me a full color brochure of all the programmes coming up. Very friendly volunteer staff, books, tapes, cd's , seminars all available also a rental section at very reasonable price. Great programs for relaxation, meditation, self esteem, addictions etc. best of all all within reach of everyone to attend. Best find I've made in Brisbane when I just want to get away from it all and open 7 days.

Please don't bother with this restaurant. We met friends there and we should have walked out when on sitting down the plastic table cloth covers were greasy. The young man behind counter tried really hard and was quite endearing as he had no idea, but everyone has to learn so we were patient. The chef came out after we ordered, 3rd clue his shirt was filthy. No drinks available as in no water, soft drink nothing, so had to go to IGA next door to get some drinks(clue 4). We ordered hot - Indian hot we love heat - the food was not spicy at all bland, over salted disgusting - the naan was even bad and if u can believe it the papadoms too- I didn't know you could make bad papadoms ! We ate about one third then paid and left - I was so disgusted and wanted to be gone I couldn't even be bothered with not paying. We left and will not ever go back, unfortunate for the owner as it is in a good location with no competition. I would rather drive 10km to get a decent curry. I don't usually criticism businesses but I think that if I can save one set of taste buds then my job is done.

The young woman was very friendly and kind - she rescued a dog that morning from the very busy road outside and was holding in back room till she could find owner. Facial was nice , pedicure, lovely, best eyebrow wax I have had did exactly as asked and massage - massage was just back and legs would have liked arms too, but for price well worth the trip.

We were late for our dinner reservation, my fault but the staff were wonderfully obliging and kept kitchen open especially for us. The tapas for entree was delicious, especially the cizorio sausage, and the calamari was tender not tough like some. Steak was tender and coked to perfection. Only thing that threw me was lack of vegetables on plate - didn't realize that had to order veges and or salad as extras. My dessert of cheesecake was pretty good , but my husbands blueberry and rose water parfait was pretty awful. Overall good value and tasty food, friendly staff.

This review is for Melbourne Visitors Shuttle, Melbourne VIC

We were amazed by this free bus / shuttle that operates in Melbourne city. The buses run every 30 minutes and there are 13 stops. So you get on go to the attraction you wish to see then when you have finished ther just wait for next free bus. Was wonderful saw all the interesting parts of Melbourne city over 4 days and there was no cost. I have paid $40 for similar in other cities in world. Also the drivers were all enthusiastic , friendly and helpful and it was good Friday. Operates everyday except Christmas. What a great idea. Can also match up to the free tram Melbourne offers. Can get route planner from the information booth in federation square, and each bus stop tells you what time their fist bus is and from ther you add 30 mins(approx) to that and you know when next bus is due. Thank you for providing this great free service in Melbourne.

Check in was easy and efficient, though we were a bit early arrived at 1pm - check in 2pm. We were promised that someone would call if ready early - no call even though room was ready, but as check in was specified 2pm can't omplain. Room was lovely and clean but somehow when booking the configuration looked like 2 bedroom with 2 double beds - instead was one queen and a single, so had to use the pull out couch as 2 couples. Very central Adelaide location. Lovely kitchen and bathroom facilities. Enjoyed our stay. Good job of updating an older style hotel. Would definitely go back. Well priced too.

This review is for Thrifty Car Rentals, Adelaide Airport SA

We hired a vehicle from thrifty on our recent trip from Adelaide airport to Melbourne via the great ocean road. Look on other websites as we booked through a 3rd party and saved about $6 a day. The staff at Adelaide were fantastic not pushy with all the extras that other companies try to push but I did get burned as they offer to return the car with no fuel and pay in advance at a 'cheaper' price per litre. It would have been a good deal but there was admin fee, credit card fee and some other charge so that was about $15 extra - which means it would have been cheaper to just fill up on return. Otherwise was good experience and on drop off the guy drove us to the terminal as it s a fair walk from the drop off point. Make sure you shop around for best price.

This review is for Icebar Melbourne, Melbourne VIC

Upstairs into a freezer full of ice sculptures and glasses made out of ice. The staff get you dressed into fur lined coats, ugh boots and gloves, then you enter the ice bar. It is cool and cold too. Inside you can play tic tac toe with giant x&o look at sculptures made of Ice and sip drinks directly out of ice glasses. The glasses can then be smashed into bin and get a new one for further drinks. Just allowed 30 minutes in the cooler as body temp drops too much after that. Then onto the ski lodge for food and further drinks. Only negative is can't take own photos and at $15 a photo it a bit pricey, also no food on day we were there. But it was fun. Great for a party starter.

This review is for Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery, Yarra Glen VIC

We visited many chocolate shops on our trip to Victoria but this one was by far the best. Huge vats of chocolate samples in white, milk and dark - no need to ask just help self. And the chocolate was delicious. Can watch the chocolatiers making the chocolate right in front of you. Huge vats of creamy dreamy chocolate being molded into various shapes and sizes. Also hard lollies and brittles. Then there is the ice creamery. Not for those on a diet. Reasonable prices and warm friendly staff who encourage you to try the samples without making you feel uncomfortable. All I can say is yum.
