This review is for Sunnybrook Health Store & Healing Centre, Ormond VIC

I was shocked to see my previous review for Sunnybrook has been deleted when no personal attacks or any other ‘don'ts', just experience, was supplied. I will therefore restate;
Being a Coeliac, I discovered Sunnybrook thru newsletters from the Coeliac Society. I visited there often but found it hard to justify their overpriced stock, 2 small bags of food amounting over $120 made me feel ripped off. While stock is plentiful, the layout is cramped and often has you moving out of the way so others can browse through.

However, the service is what left the most to be desired. Hurried, unfriendly and often times downright rude. Customer service is making the customer feel welcome and giving advice and service in a kind matter, not ignoring you at the counter and just scanning thru your items without acknowledgement (or even a smile!).
Now, I rather locally buy gluten free, lactose free, etc. food staples at a reasonable price than have a visit to this store.

Approximate cost: $100+

A place where Coeliac's and non-Coeliac's can happily enjoy a meal as separate ovens are used for the gluten and gluten free food. The Wood-fire pizza's are fresh and delicious (GF pizzas taste like the 'normal' gluten-packed pizza us CD sufferers once enjoyed!), it's usually quiet but can get busy at lunch on Friday and Saturday.

Members of the Coeliac Society of Australia receive a discount off the whole meal when you present your member card, can't complain with that!

This review is for Misty's 1950's Diner, Prahran VIC

If you've dreamed of sitting in a 50's theme diner surrounded by American number plates, jukeboxes, rock n roll music, a shake, some chilli fries and maybe some Hershey's for later, this is the place. Misty's offers all-American meals, drinks and desserts in a wonderfully nostalgic and fun atmosphere. But be warned, the hot chilli fries are extreme! You may even get to meet owner Misty Singer, who is nothing but sincere and friendly.

There's a play area inside for kids, it's minutes away from Prahran train station and in walking distance to Chapel Street.

The only downside is now, being diagnosed with Coeliac Disease, little is available to gluten free consumers (even with the fries due to the chance of cross-contamination of the oil it's cooked in and the fact that it's not a gluten free kitchen), but if progress ever comes around for the growing amount of gluten free consumers, I'll be there!

A dining experience like no other - they cater so well to gluten free, fructose friendly food. Extremely friendly staff, ultra modern seating with a quiet view of the city out the window.

They have temporary suspended business at the moment, but hopefully will hopefully return soon as sufferers of gluten intolerances will have an amazing, inclusive dining experience here.

Great range for Coeliac, lactose intolerance, fructose malabsorption and diabetes sufferers. Also cater to vegetarians and gelatine-free consumers. They are always friendly and helpful, and if you're looking for more detail or a big order, they happily provide you with hard copies of their range and prices so you can just tick and choose what you'd like.

Provides an excellent display of fresh and frozen foods from scones, to pies, to cakes, etc. You can also order to home.
