Recently moved to the area and thought we would give them a go. 2xplain burgers @$13ea and chips $7 for a box (contained 27 hand cut fries) tot $33. Way over priced. Burger meat patties were that tough and glued together with goodness knows what. Fries soggy and inedible. Ended up throwing it all in the bin. This was last Thursday night, restaurant was empty perhaps we just got a bad night? But Personally we Would not recommend or try again.

Just had an awesome lunch at Catch 22 at the marina in Mandurah with a friend. Shared the pork spring rolls then had pumpkin and mushroom rositto entree, both were so delicious and simply Devine. Finished off with banoffee and sticky date pudding all whilst sipping on a gorgeous NZ wine. The staff were very welcoming on arrival and the overall service was very efficient. No wonder they won the gold plate last year! Excellent job Catch 22. I did have breakfast here about 4 years ago and it was cold and simply horrible but I believe the restaurant has changed hands since then.

Went to check out the new Liquor Shed in Jandakot a couple of weeks ago and did a bit of shopping at the Spud Shed while there. Also then had a late Breakfast at the Francesco's Cafe. although the brekky was delicious and plentiful we found it was only Luke warm which was the only disappointing thing about it. Perhaps because we were a bit later in the morning but the staff were very welcoming and the service was very efficient. The venue was very clean and so were the amenities i used on leaving. They had a huge range of food including cakes etc to choose from and reasonably priced too. There was this huge mural on the wall which I when I asked it was explained that it was the family history of the owners and that the cafe was in fact named after the dad of the owners. Wow what an awesome tribute. I will definitely be back to try another meal very soon.

Because I shop at the spud shed I had heard that they were opening The Liquor Shed next door to their Jandakot store so decided to take a drive to check it out. Wow Wow Wow. Amazing to say the least. The store is huge. And the chandeliers made out of wine glasses and bottles were so impressive I just had to take photos of them. They had some damn good deals and were generally cheaper overall on all products that I saw. Staff were extremely happy and helpful. They even have a tasting corner and a specialised gift section too. Would love to upload some pics but not sure how. I walked away with a lighter purse I can tell you. Well worth the drive from Secret Harbour. While we were there I noticed they now have a cafe/restaurant too called Francesco's.

For those of you who have not bed to any of the spud sheds ....you should. Located about a 10 min drive from Rockingham area but worth it. From meat, groceries and truck loads of fresh fruit and veges. You Will save a $ guaranteed. It's like no frills shopping. Heaps of staff around to help out and seem always happy to do so. I shop here regularly and recommend it to anyone.

This review is for Foreshore Fish And Chips, Mandurah WA

I have to say that The small Foreshore Fish and Chip shop is the best Fish and Chips ever. Prices are standard with other fish and chip shops but in our opinion the food is so much better and so fresh. We always use them for our takeaways, however we have on occasion frequented another good fish and chip outlet on the Marina for a sit down meal but for takeaway it's the Foreshore.

Recently needed a new spark plug for my lawn mower so went down to this locally owned business to buy one. The Gentleman was busy with another customer that was clearly going to take a while. He excused himself to serve me which was fantastic and I was grateful. He answered my questions without frustration, me being female and not really knowing what I needed. Another plus for me. The amazing thing was I actually didn't realise until attending the store that they also deal with mobility scooters etc and having also recently had to do a fair amount of running around for a friend to help get some assistance in getting his scooter repaired I'm kicking myself I didn't realise that this local business could have helped. Looks like he is a one man band and doing an awesome job servicing the area in a very caring manner. Highly recommend this business to all.

I regularly buy my lotto and magazines with these guys and they are always so friendly and helpful. They are one of the newest lotto outlets in the area and have already sold a BIG winning ticket and no it wasn't me! But great to think it went to a local. Good job guys keep up the good friendly experience and smiles.

Just had Lunch again at the Whistling Kite and as usual the food was pretty good. This is our "Local" and we like to support local business. Atmosphere is always friendly. The kite is a bit more upmarket than other pub meals but worth it. Will continue our support.

Have seen a couple of bad reviews for this cafe but my experience is the opposite. Have found the food always a good quality and the service too. In my opinion they make the best hamburgers ever and all meals have been a generous helping. Beaut coffee and breakfast is awesome too.
