I run my car on gas & petrol. The gas went on the blink... John at JW Auto Gas checked out the problem and thought it could have been a couple of things, one of which was going to be very expensive...
Rather than just changing everything and charging me for it, he took the time to isolate the problem and fix it. It didn't cost the nearly s much and I'm saving money on gas again

I've been going to these guys for years.... They do a great job at a reasonable cost. They explain what is needed and what it will cost.

They don't look for the "cheap" option but the "best" option at the best price... to ensure that your car stays on the road safely

I had some bathroom renovation work done but decided to organize my own plumber as I have being dealing with Chris and his father, Bernie, for many years.
I told Chris what I needed in regard to the bathroom but when he began work he noticed that a lot of the galvanized pipes under our house were corroding. He suggested that, as he was already on site working, it would be a lot cheaper to replace these pipes there and then.
I now have great water pressure at all my taps.... I didn't realize how bad, in terms of water pressure they were, until he had fixed them

Chris was also able to create a system for me to use the shower, bath and bathroom sink water to be pipes directly onto the back yard... No more buckets in shower for us!

The boys at Bob Jane's Hopper's are very professional although one of them barracks for Collingwood.
They book your car in, they give you a time, stick to it and do the job reliably... The follow up service is also great and I think I got about 10,000 extra km from my last set of tyres... That's good economy and good for the environment.

I love the fact that they organize their workday so everybody can have lunch together... Looking after their staff means that they'll look after us as customers as well... Good workplace relations.

I recently had a small kitchen renovated and required some plastering to be done as a result of the new installations. The cabinet maker recommended Anthony and I'm sure glad he did.... Anthony came on the day, and at time, he said he would. He looked at the work required ( A number or cornices to be replaced and matched with existing cornices, holes to be patched, plasterboard to be repaired, a number of cracks in the ceiling to be repaired and a larger cavity left by the removal of a sliding door to be filled in...) and gave a reasonable quote for the work. He immediately indicated that the cornices, which were old and not is common use anymore, may be hard to source but that he would try.

A few days later he called to say that to match the cornices perfectly would take a long time as they would have to be molded especially for the job and that this extra work would "cost the earth". He suggested that he use a current product and match it as best he could... He went with his suggestions (Who looks at cornices anyway??) and I'm glad we did... I can't spot the difference and I doubt anybody else (unless they were a plasterer by trade!!) would either!!!

The whole job, which I thought would take days, was completed in two afternoons...

Charlie & Nancy run a family business fixing and servicing lawn mowers and accessories. I've had them looking after a ride-on mower for many years and I'm sure they've added many years to its life.
They also look after my old two stroke which runs beautifully because of the regular servicing it receives from Charlie.
I'm not sure if they can sell mowers at the same discounted prices that the bigger chain stores can but I know that they would only sell stuff that they think is quality.... After all, they'll be the ones who have to keep fixing it if it's a lemon!

While I'm not a "big rap" for the pokies, this Hotel does give back to the community by making Monday and Tuesday Nights discount meals nights (3 courses for around $15!!!). If you don't want to avail yourself of the "specials", you can still order from their normal menus....but why would ya????
The eating area is very well appointed, clean and neat with comfortable seating. The food is simply delicious and especially good value on these nights....
Staff are friendly and knowledgeable..

Give these guys a go! I've been going to them every Friday night for the last month or so and their fish and chips are great. Their souvalaki, especially the lamb, is unbelievable... A full meal in itself with more meat than you can poke a stick at.... Great value!!!.... unless you're a vegetarian!
The shop is clean and neat and the guys behind the counter are pleasant and friendly.
if you order over a certain amount ($25 I think????) they give you a 2L Soft Drink for free!! Not bad!!!

I have tried a number of different Tyre Places around Werribee over the years and I believe that these guys are most professional and consistent that I've come across.
You book your car in for a set time, the work is completed on time and at the agreed cost .......there are no costly surprises....
If they believe that the car requires work, they let you know so that you can take it to your own mechanic.
I've been going to them for a number of years now and so have my kids who have all been happy with their work.

This place is great for a quality pub meal. It has a cosy indoor area which is especially delightful in the cooler months. In the warmer months, the outside area is very comfortable and pleasant. It is well maintained and feels clean!!
I have always found the staff to be be friendly and attentive without being too pushy or rushed.
The menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner always have something for everyone... The meals are generous without being over the top
