I'm OK with this place. While it's not your top of the range food, it's good enough. We had the hangry feast (sic), which was a300g steak and a small rack of ribs. While 'just' enough for two, if you count it up, it's not great value. But I guess you're paying a premium for the location
But confusing. Enter around the back. Coffee is expensive
Came here on the weekend and had a half chicken with 3 salads for $16.90. I think that's a very reasonable price for the amount of food I got.
Tasty as well, so no complaints here.
Lots of people at this one, so the locals would agree too
They weren't overly busy, but OMG did it take a long time for them to serve us, and then to get the food out.
If you go there, remember to take a book or something to do as you might be waiting a while.
But all is forgiven when the food does come out. Absolutely exquisite. Had the goat masala, lamb spinach and garlic naans. Also an entree of chilli chicken. All were great and will be coming back time and again for their food!!!
It's beer. And they've gone and combined it with an informal cafe setting. Lovely work and great brews!
Plus Friday after 5pm, they do 50c wings.
Thursdays is Happy Hour in the afternoon sometime
Got a couple of things from here the other day. The pork dumplings with noodles, which were really nice.
Also got a pork and seafood one, can't remember the exact name. These were fried and boy they were yummy!
Came here on a whim while passing by the area. I'm glad we did stop. Their prices are very reasonable and the food was fantastic.
The best thing is we weren't thirsty afterwards, so that's a claim to them not using MSG. I would come here again if I'm in the area.
While the Ramen leaves a little to be desired, well at least the one time I went, it's their current special offer which is absolutely mind blowing.
Get yourself a beer or cider and for an extra dollar, you can have a serving of edamame beans or karage chicken, freshly made.
So I had a $7.50 beer and karage. All up, $8.50 and I was a very happy person indeed. The chicken was tender, moist and battered with the lightness that makes the karage so special.
Highly recommended
Very cute little shop selling cakes and little baked puffs of interesting flavours.
We had the purple sweet potato one, their classic rose and the lotus one with egg yolk. They were indeed interesting eats and I quite enjoyed them.
They were chased with coffee, which at $4 a cup isn't great value, but it was a good brew that I would happily drink again if not for the cost.
Dismissing the fact they have too many flies, the burgers and chips were really good. We opted for the cheeseburger and hamburger and they did very well.
Prices are fantastic and would likely give other fast food burger joints a run for their money.
Would I come again? Yes!
