Sushi Sushi at Southland is always fresh and tasty. I can't get enough of it. Everyone working there is very friendly and are always happy to throw in extra soy sauce or mayo.

Prices are great but don't expect service with a smile. They were not so willing for me to return an item and asked that I contact the company to get a receipt number, it was a bit disappointing.

Grill'd is the BEST burger take away place ever! The burgers are always so tasty and fresh and the chips are to die for, they always squash them in so you get more than you expect. The prices are very reasonable and are always left feeling full and satisfied. I only wish it was easier to park at Southland to get to Grill'd more often.

This is a gorgeous little cafe in Highett (there aren't too many around). Blue Dish make a lovely coffee and have street side seating which is great on a nice day. Food is always fantastic but can be a bit on the expensive side, however they do have pies and pastries if you don't want to order off the menu.

I was looking for a Dr that was open on a Sunday. I called in the morning and was able to get an appointment before midday. This was great because there aren't too many Doctors open on a Sunday. All they charged was $90.

Bayside is a large gym with lots of equipment. They are going through a refurbishment which will make the gym more modern. The only downside is that they are affiliated with Fitness First and always put up the membership fees.

Tripadvisor is the BEST website ever when you are planning a holiday. You can read reviews of hotels and see photos that guests have taken rather than professional shots. You can compare hotels and there are other benefits of this website that always surprise me.

This is the nicest restaurants in Glen Waverley. The service is fantastic. All the dishes are so fresh and are always so full of flavour. The menu has many options which makes it hard to decide! They have an outdoor deck but only a few tables available so best to book. Definitely worth a try.

Everyone at the Hampton Vet are so helpful and friendly especially Danny. When I got my puppy I took her to Danny for a vet check and vaccinations. Danny takes care of my pup like she was his own and always explains things thoroughly so I feel comfortable with what he is doing. I went to the puppy school at Hampton vet which was really cheap and great socialization for my puppy. I will always continue to take my pets to Danny - Best Vet in Melbourne!!

I went there for breakfast this morning and was served by one of the many 15 year old under trained waiters. Coffees took half an hour to get to the table and were cold when they did. Three breakfasts came out at once and the last one took another ten minutes. We had ordered a croissant (which are advertised on a big blackboard at the entrance) and then our breakfasts came out the waiter said they had run out....information that would have been nice 20 minutes earlier. The big breakfast was missing hash browns and the eggs with extra avocado was missing the avocado. Food was cold and the 'volcanic' hot coffees definately were not 'volcanic' as recommended. We asked to speak to the manager, we had to ask twice before we could actually speak to him. When we were finished we went to pay and we were charged to the croissant that didn't turn up! All up a pretty dissapointing experience. Not sure I will be back in a hurry - Hire some wait staff that are not in high school.
