Under no circumstances should you buy a Dryer from Technika we have a 7kg Condenser dryer TDC7E and we have had nothing but headaches. Under 2 years old we had to get the heating element replaced after much going back and forth they agreed to repair it under warranty now the dryer leaks water after the end of its cycle. The dryer is under 4 years old but has not had much use as it is only used infrequently. They refuse to come to the party and fix it free. The product is only good for a couple of years before it breaks down after the warrant expires they do not stand behind the brand. Judging by comments made by others on this site I am not the only one experiencing issues with their products. Spend a bit more and buy German made products DO NOT BUY TECHNIKA it’s a waste of your money and time trying to go it fixed when the product stops working. I don’t know how they are still in business.

If I could rate a zero star I would!

Three of the most frustrating years now with Technika oven and dishwasher, and no thanks to Henley Homes for installing such rubbish. Never-Ever buy or settle for Technika products. They malfunction, do not work properly even after repairing and replacing. In very frank terms the over does not cook and the dishwasher does not wash, so if that doesn't tell you that they are rubbish then you will learn the hard way.

My wife and I bought a LOFRA Model D9EGSS upright gas/electric stove during a recent kitchen reno. It was chosen on reports of great reputation.
The oven elements/fans selector switch failed completely 4 months after 2 year warranty period ended.
The initial query to service department of Technika failed to get a warranty claim progressed which was initially a great disappointment to us as the cost of the replacement was a few hundred dollars plus service visit cost and further labour costs and all so soon after being purchased.
Consumer Affairs gave some advice but stressed that warranty period was finished and good will of company was only recourse open to us.
We then submitted an e-mail expressing a request for consideration of warranty claim to TECHNIKA knowing and admitting that we were outside warranty. We were both extremely grateful for the response from the company in which they granted our request even though the warranty had expired.
We acknowledge that they had no legal requirement to do so but had agreed purely as an extremely welcome and fully appreciated gesture of good will.
Our faith in this product and he company behind it has been fully restored.
I would not hesitate to recommend this product once again.

I tried to post a review but because it was not complimentary I HAD TO JUMP THROUGH HOOPS and in the end it is just too hard to post a bad review so only good reviews actually make it onto this website
