My favourite veg place in Adelaide by far. Constantly spoilt for choice as they have such a huge variety of options available! Service can get abit slow at busier times but it's still worth the wait. I love their laksa, satay noodles, gourmet masala, and salt and pepper oyster mushrooms.

If you want a quiet dinner at a private table then Press* is not for you. However if you are into a great (albeit loud) atmosphere where you can talk, drink, share food and have fun...Press* has hit the mark. Firstly, there are these great 12 or so seater long bar/bench sections and with 4 of us we quickly made friends on either side. That was part of the fun! The food was great...nice selection and well priced with something for everyone. As for the drinks the beers are boutique so don't expect a Corona or anything standard but I tried the Brooklyn Beer and it was great. Wine list is very solid as well (we tried 2 bottles...one red and one white) and made a few friends in the process. We were the last to leave at some very late hour so that tells you we must have had a good time.

My husband and I were driving past and had heard about this place from my mum so we went in to try. The moment we stepped out of the car we could smell meat being cooked on the charcoal - well that got us walking faster to the door. I had the T...kebab $15.00. 4 skewers of Diced lamb, with flat bread salad and 2 sauces, I was very full but couldnt stop eating. My husband had the mixed yiros $12.00 3 different skewers and his was just as nice.

Wandering around Adelaide and finally found georges. As we had had a busy day asked to split a meal and they did, wonderful steak with super little roasted potatoes wonderful wine. The meal made the day! Then we were a short distance from our hotel and went back for a great breakfast at a reasonable cost.

I had heard lots of good things about this place and were not disappointed. We both ordered the $11.80 barra and chips meal deal which came with 3 massive pieces of melt-in-your-mouth battered barramundi on top of a mound of hot chips. We purchased some chicken salt for our chips but were disappointed by this. It wasn't the traditional salt+sugar combo, but instead something that seemed to be purchased from a supermarket. It tasted average and spoiled the chips. If I was going to Maddigans again I would definitely purchase the same thing, minus the chicken salt and just do lots of normal salt instead.

This review is for Whileaway Bookshop And Cafe, Port Douglas QLD

A bustling place. We opted for take away coffees as their were no tables when we visited, The tables are nestled in the centre of the bookshop, and the people at the tables were being jostled and bumped by book browsers, waitresses and cafe customers. The coffee was nice, but it cost over $10 for my cappuccino and chai latte, which seemed excessive.

The staff were incredibly informative about all the dishes, they didn't just know the menu they honestly loved it themselves. From the fresh shucked oysters to the snails to the impeccable deserts everything was so very well presented and prepared. For main course I had Daube de Boufe which was wonderful, so very tender, which came with mashed potato and we also had some sprouts, All very good, but again a large amount of food. The service was very good, our waitress friendly and very helpful with wine selections.

I was fortunate enough to get 3 nights at Mia Tai, and wish I could have stayed longer, the owners Andre and Anthony made the stay of mine ant my partner very comfortable. From the moment we arrived we were greeted and welcomed to the Resort. After a brief introduction Andre showed us to our room that included a guided walk through of the room amenities. The room was lovely, an out door shower was a nice change to the standard bathroom. The hand carved bed was I'm pretty sure a king size and was comfortable. Andre offered some suggestions of day trips of the region and some brochures for us to look through. Each morning we enjoyed a delightful breakfast of local fresh fruit and cereals overlooking the Valley, before heading out to explore. If you want a unique experience located perfected for day drives of the region and into the Daintree, then Mai Tai is the perfect place to stay. I look forward to another Mai Tai experience one day again, next time hopefully for longer.

This review is for Frock Shop, Burleigh Heads QLD

Frock Shop has an amazing range of designer clothing including the very best of Camilla and Marc, Rachel Gilbert, and Zimmerman. They have these ridiculously massive but trance-inspiring dazzling dresses, You can shop online for these jaw-dropping designs too but depending on your taste and the occasion, you'll be looking at anywhere between $300 and $1200. Even swimwear is pricy with the smallest I saw being $150. Still, you can content yourself with more affordable options like earrings or a belt or, like me, lunge for the sale items. This store is a wonderful place of elegance and a fantastic celebration of effortless style, the staff are also very friendly and start up a conversation.

This review is for Bazaar Restaurant, Surfers Paradise QLD

Bazaar restaurant is such an amazing restaurant to take the family out to for dinner, Every way they cook an egg is perfection, their steaks are done to the second at your request, fresh seafood rests upon rocks of ice waiting for you, juicy fruit, pastries, a tantalising array of salads, I mean I could keep going and going! The food is great and I am fussy, what else do you really need to know? If you go for breakfast, there are fresh juices is wonderful combinations (green apple & celery was my favourite) as well as smoothies all there ready and waiting for you in adorable glass bottles! I can sing praises for this place forever.
