Had breakfast here with the family today. We purchased the bacon, egg and sausage breakfast wrap and the bacon and sausage omelette. Our meals were tastey and the serving was generous. Lady that served us was quite nice and friendly. When our food was ready, she saw that I was alone with my son, who was already strapped in the high chair, as hubby was getting our hot drinks from elsewhere, so she brought out our food to us. It's kind gestures like these that make a place stand out for me. Am happy to say that I will probably come back here to try something else from their menu.

I've been hearing rave reviews from hubby and some of my work colleagues about Crust Gourmet Pizzas and now I know exactly why! OMG it tastes ssooooooo good! We ordered the Sezchuan Chilli Prawn, Cajun Chicken and the Cheese kids meal. All the pizzas were absolutely great. You could really taste all the flavours right down to the hint of fish sauce on the Szechuan Chilli Prawn. I haven't had pizza in a long long time and this certainly satisfied the taste buds! Kudos to my hubby for introducing me to it! Service in store was friendly and efficient. Pizza Hut and Dominoes eat your heart out...this is how pizza should be!

Love this store, it has everything you'll need for your next project. Whenever I can't track down materials I always go to Eckersleys and sure enough they'll have it. It can be a little on the expensive side, but you're pretty much guaranteed to find what you are looking for. Staff is always friendly an helpful.

This review is for Haigh's Chocolates, Sydney NSW

OMG I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Haighs! Some may say the price tag may be a bit on the expensive side but what quality chocolate isn't?? If you ask me its so worth it!

Every time I'm here, which isn't as often as I'd like these days, I usually stock up and walk out with $50-$100 worth of chocolate! My top 3 faves are the milk frogs, milk roasted almonds and the strawberries and cream. My mouth's watering just thinking and writing about them!

For those chocolate lovers that either haven't heard of or tried Haigh's, I suggest that you make a special trip to a store and talk to the friendly staff who would be more than happy to give you tasting sample and also recommend something for your palate!

This review is for Children's Hospital At Westmead, Westmead NSW

My son was admitted here at 3 weeks old for whooping cough back in 2011. As first time parents, it was a very emotional and trying time for my husband and I. The staff, in particular, the nurses and doctors that we dealt with were fantastic. They were very sympathetic, understanding and ready and willing to answer all of our questions. The nurses and volunteers also made sure that I gave myself a break to refresh and grab something to eat, which I was thankful for.

We practically lived in my son's room there during this time, I had the pull out sofa bed to rest in at night next to my son and the nurses also offered the parent room for my husband to stay in overnight, as he would come to the hospital straight from work in the evenings and go to work from the hospital in the mornings.

I just want to congratulate the hospital for a job well done and to keep up their great work with these wonderful children.

This review is for Skybus Super Shuttle, Melbourne Airport VIC

verified email - 15 May 2013

As first time visitors to Melbourne we were looking for the easiest and most convenient way to get into city from the airport (and back again at the end of our trip). The Skybus shuttle service did just that. Conveniently located just outside the domestic arrival terminal, it's hard to miss. And the complimentary hotel transfer was a bonus. All drivers that we dealt with were great - helpful and friendly. I thought the price was good value considering what it might've cost us if we had used a taxi. Overall, services provided by Skybus gave us a great first impression of Melbourne.

This review is for Outback Steakhouse, Parklea NSW

I have to commend the staff here for their service! When we had dinner here it seemed like they were super busy. I was a bit anxious about how long we'd have to wait having a toddler in tow. However, the staff was quick to provide my son with some books and crayons as a distraction. And soon enough, we were shown to our table. Within 5 minutes of being seated, we were also given complimentary bread, which my son absolutely loved and demolished! And the service didn't stop there. Our waiter was attentive and despite being a busy night, he kept checking in on us to make sure were happy with our meals.

With respect to the food – its was fantastic! Big portions and tastey! I ordered the mixed ribs, hubby had one of the steaks, and the little bub happily picked away at the cheese chips! By the end of dinner, we had to undo the top buttons of our pants!

Some may find the pricing a little expensive, but I find it is in line with the prices of your typical steakhouse style restaurants.

This review is for Travelodge, Docklands VIC

My family and I stayed here for a week during February this year. It was our first time visiting Melbourne and staying here definitely did not disappoint. After a full day of walking around, site-seeing, etc it was nice to go back to rest in a clean and comfortable place, ready to be re-energised for the next day.

Except for one particular staff member (who was probably having a bad day), the reception was very friendly and helpful. The room we got had the king sized bed, was spacious (we were able to leave our son's stroller unfolded and still had plenty of room to move around), well cleaned and had nice modern decor.

What I liked best about staying here is its location. It is located right next to Southern Cross Station, which made it really accessible to various tram stops. At Southern Cross Station itself, you'll find Woolies, Red Rooster, Mad Mex and other eateries. Also, the bus depot for the airport service is conveniently located here too.

We would definitely consider staying here again, the next time we visit Melbourne.

This review is for Dean Park Take Away, Dean Park NSW

I am not usually a big fan of Chinese take away, but these guys are better than most that I've tried. Whenever hubby and I are too lazy to cook, we usually give these guys a call and order one of their banquet menus to be delivered. I especially love their Chef's special red curry duck and hubby likes their combination omelette. Service is good and they have always arrived with the food within the time they specify, which is usually about 30mins.

This review is for Cake It Away Hassall Grove, Hassall Grove NSW

verified email - 13 May 2013

Whenever I don't have enough time to bake and decorate my own cake, I usually make a trip to Cake It Away Hassall Grove. They have a good range of cakes and in different sizes. You can even buy cakes in half. So if you're a little bit strict on the calories, a smaller piece may be just what you are looking for. However, if you are anything like me and love to indulge every once in a while, I would recommend their Mars Bar Cake…it is absolutely rich with all that chocolatey goodness! Everytime I have been here, service has been wonderful. There was one time, when the cheesecake that I wanted to bring to a party was out of stock, the owner was more than happy to make one up for me on the spot.
