This review is for Moby Dick Resort Motel, Yamba NSW

We were extremely satisfied with Moby Dick Motel. Our room was very large, it featured two double beds (in separate rooms) and a single bed, two spacious bathrooms, two kitchens (only one kitchen had cooking facilities), a balcony and plenty of room and storage.

Our room was clean, tidy and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable as well. There were only a few small issues like the lock on one of the bathroom doors didn't work and one of the kitchen exhaust fans didn't run properly. Nothing serious.

Service was great, each morning our room would be serviced, beds made up, room tidied etc. etc.

The actual motel is situated right on the Clarence River, it's right next to a boat ramp and has its own jetty. It's only one or two kilometres from town as well.

Facilities include a small pool, washing machines/dryers, BBQs and seating, a jetty and fairly large grounds right on the river.

Great value, we got all of this (in October school holidays) for $140 a night.

We would highly recommend Moby Dick.

I would highly recommend this place. The food I had for lunch was excellent. The service is reasonably fast as well.

Good value for money, and it's right in the centre of town.

We were moderately pleased with this restaurant. The food was OK this time (few days before this review), but we have had better last time (a few months before). My fish and chips seemed just a little ordinary, the chips we great but the fish didn't seem quite fresh enough.

Service is great here, and the atmosphere is fine. It's right near a nice hotel/motel and the beach as well.

We were disappointed with this cafe. The coffee was more like warm milk than coffee. We sent it back and it came out better, still not great. The carrot cake was disappointing, not fresh enough. Maybe it would have been great a day or two ago.

The service was fine - food came quickly.

It wasn't worth the money we paid.

This review is for Swagbucks.com, Sydney NSW

This is a rewards site. You earn "swagbucks" by doing surveys and tasks, participating in polls and generally using the web.

The surveys are fine, you are always given your points for completing them. There aren't really that many though.

There are "tasks" or jobs which you can complete for points. When you begin these you are in training mode, and you have to have a certain accuracy to do it for real and earn points. However they are extremely picky, and will often tell you that you're wrong, and they'll say why. The tasks are not explained well enough.

Another feature to this site is that you get points simply for browsing the web using their browser, and playing games. It says you will be awarded points periodically for doing these things, but it never says when these points will be awarded or how many. So you find yourself browsing the web and playing their games in hope of scoring a few points (I never got any).

Swagbucks is based in America, and they recently added Australia to a list of countries that can participate. Because they're based in America some of the features and rewards of this website are not available for Australians.

I think there are better rewards programs available than this one.

This review is for Sushia, Bathurst NSW

The Sushi I had here was great. It was fresh and professionally made. The price did seem quite high however, but I guess you get only what you pay for.

It is also very conveniently located, right in the middle of the central Bathurst shopping centre.

I would definitely recommend Sushia.

Mt View Mini-Mart does great chips. I've never had any of their other takeaway though. They also have lots of other things, just what you'd expect from a good convenience store. Friendly service.

Pee Wees Bakery has a good range of bakery styled food. It's always fresh and the prices are reasonable. I would recommend.

The prices are good and the quality USUALLY good. They have such a range of products, not just fruit, veg and meat. I would recommend Harris Farm for fruit/veg/meat/gourmet etc. products.

This review is for Chai Wallah Cafe, Bathurst NSW

Chai Wallah is a great cafe in Bathurst. The food is fresh and always tastes great. The menu is often changing so there is always something new.

The setting is also very good with indoor and outdoor courtyard seating.

Service is friendly and fairly quick.
