Since the first half of 2012 my gas bills have doubled in cost - usage is the same or less than last year, but the cost has increased by 50-100%. Everyone was worried about electricity, but no-one mentioned that the gas companies were about to rip people off! I'll be comparing prices immediately!

Fresh fish, good service, lots of extras. We have been customers for a long time, and will continue our patronage. Friday nights are a must at the Somie Fish and Chip shop

Since new owners have taken over, meals are very poor value. Used to be able to buy a Big Al's Special and feed 2 men - now we have to buy extra food elsewhere to make up a meal!

When we got home and opened a new purchased item, we discovered it was damaged. On ringing The Good Guys, we were told that we had to organise return of the product at our own expense, and if we didn't like that, to contact the manufacturer and work it out with them. Customer service - nil. We DID return the item, for a full refund, and purchased a new item (at a cheaper price) from another retailer in the area.

As our son's 21st birthday party date drew nearer, the weather forecast got worse and worse so, on the Wednesday before the event I rang a few companies to investigate hiring a marquee for the night. I chose Instant for several reasons; they had the size I needed, you could "do-it-yourself", I could pick up Friday and return on Monday, and the cost was great. I arrived at their premises and was welcomed warmly by Bree in the office. The paperwork was all ready to go, and one of the guys even put all the gear in my car. When we erected the marquee on Friday night, it was a simple operation, and it looked fabulous, even before we decorated it. Even though it didn't rain on the night, our guests were very appreciative of the protection from the cold of the evening. Dismantling the marquee was also extremely easy, and when I returned the equipment on the Monday, Bree was genuinely interested in how our function had gone. Again, the paperwork was ready, and simply done, our bond was returned, and one of the guys again helped me by removing the marquee from my car. I would certainly recommend Instant to anyone needing their expertise!
