Since discovering this website, I have never paid full price for accommodation! I only wish I had discovered it sooner, their offers cannot be beaten, in my opinion it is even better than TripAdvisor. I also like the 'Mystery Hotel Deal' - we were a bit wary of what we would end up with when we chose the 4 star deal - and ended up better than expected accommodation in the centre or Brisbane at half the price of the direct cost we had previously enquired about! They also have very detailled descriptions on the amenities and location, and you can read other users' experiences on the same page, which also includes an opportunity for the accommodation owner to respond to.

Trust me - whether you want 1st class 5 star, or basic and budget, get it through wotif.com and pay a portion of the retail price. Stay for 5 + days in certain places and save hundreds!

Great idea behind the business,and you do get huge savings,major problem though is alot of the time you make a booking through wotif,but because its not the actual place you're staying at,sometimes they don't even get the booking.so you arrive at your destination,after paying through wotif,but your accommodation doesn't know.extremely frustrating and has left me stranded cold at 11pm in airlie beach.so make sure you call the actual accommodation too!

I love sites like wotif as they are always cheaper than going direct to the hotel. I have had good experiences here and alternate between this site and lastminute.com. I think I need to check them out now for a much needed surprise holiday!

I have used Wotif a few times myself and agree they have a huge range of hotels & a lot of the time they are cheaper than anyone else.

Having used this website many time......I love it!

It's great to be able to source accommodation for a location on the one site especially if a family emergency happens.

The site is regularly updated and maintained well. It's easy to navigate and understand. I recommend this site to anyone travelling on a budget.

I'm only 15, but my family and I frequently go traveling. We never pay expensive prices for hotels, because of Wotif.com. Dad says that they are always cheaper than regular hotel booking sites, and so we have been using it for years. We have traveled to and from Darwin, Broome, Kunnanara, Katherine, Alice Springs, Mt Isa, Cairns, Townsville, Cooper Peedy, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Canberra, etc., and the hotels never have a problem with it. Best invention ever!

We recently booked a 'surprise package', which was meant to be a 4 or 5 star nights accommodation in Brisbane for $150. We decided although a little more expensive then we could afford, we would treat ourselves. We were very annoyed that on arrival we were told we would have pay an extra $30 for parking, which had not been mention as part of this deal. Made for lot more expensive night than we had planned. Will use Wotif again, but won't be taking up any surprise deals again.

I have used Wotif a few times to book accommodation or flights for my partner. I have found in some case's I can find cheaper myself.

Some of the deals are good for holiday bundles.

There are so many of these sites around these days though its not to hard to find a better deal.

Wotif have great deals on accommodation throughout Australia and I use them to book most of my accommodation through their site. I usually use Wotif to look up different options for my chosen destination and then go to the specific accommodation's website to see if I want to book with them and to make sure they don't have any specials on their own website.
