Brilliant idea. I like perusing just to find businesses within my area that get good raps...maybe try them out.

I think the odd email that is sent is a good reminder for us to review again, its easily forgotten in our busy lives.

For a shopping, service and dining out ADDICT this service / website / program is BRILLIANT.

I love writing reviews of the businesses I use and find myself going out of the way to try a new cafe or what not so I can review it.

I also have used womo as a guide when I have been looking at using a local service too.

I love earning rewards and having my opinion heard and shared, and gaining that inside knowledge and experience from others too.

Getting rewarded for doing what I like best? Eating,shopping,spending money....I love this site! I have made a few great purchases with my rewards so far and I love giving honest reviews about my experiences to share so this site is a win/win for me. Unfortunately one problem was that my account was shut down and I was advised by a young girl that I have been using 'multiple accounts'...I was exasperated and she did test my patience (by not being helpful & not explaining why) but when I asked fervently for a supervisor they did help out and the young girl advised that since I am active they will let me off...which irritated me as I didn't have other accounts...BUT it ended well and I understand training people can be difficult but it is neccasary. My partner though complained he cant open an account, I told him to address WOMO as I referred him and they shut it down. I do hope they help as I do love spreading the word about this site. However as with all other review sites you get the few suspicious reviews...especially when a business only has people with 1 review constantly commenting on how wonderful their experience was. You just have to use common sense. I do however commend WOMO for its rewards program, very generous!

Excellent company that allows you to review businesses,or read genuine reviews about hem.also actually rewards you,unlike some companies that take forever to get .50c off,WOMO rewards extremely well.only issue is sometimes uu can't leave a negative feedback about a company,when if u want to you should be ale too.otherwise great site!!

this website is great for seeing good reviews. However recently i went through alot of drama to post a genuine bad review about a service i received. this website very much seemed to be all about protecting the business & not the customer. They made me go through and extremely lengthy battle to prove that i was indeed a customer and that i had indeed received bad treatment.

Most other people wouldn't have bothered to provide all the proof i had to just in order to warn people about a business. I would like you to keep that in mind when you are deciding to use a business, it could be that womo has not allowed the bad reviews to be published.

I am sure they will not allow this review to be posted either.

Hi Rosetyler. I'm very sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience with WOMO. Unfortunately there are instances where a business' competitor or a disgruntled employee decides to write false negative reviews for the business. So when a business believes that a review is not from a real customer of theirs, we do need to take extra precautions to ensure the experience was real. In this case, as you have provided evidence of being a customer, your review is now live on the site. Yup,I've had issues too writing negative reviews,I think tho it's because it's a fine line between reviewing the company and making negative comments?anyway,I agree with ou completely,and I'm glad you stuck it out o report the said company!

as you have stated below my review was proven to be legitimate. However the business owner keeps flagging my review as inappropriate. I have now had to contact WOMO 3 times in order to get my review re-instated. I cannot keep doing this every day. WOMO needs to change their website so that once a review has been investigated and proved to be genuine it cannot be flagged constantly by the business owner.

This is the best review site that i have been on..so many good reviews by the public people what helps out in where you wanna buy from or wine and dine...

There is a good reward program but it be good if there could be more rewards available to get for your points..

Lots of good special coupons what works and are at a good value..

Well.. The Value. It's free, so there's an easy 5 stars WOMO. Quality, supppoooib! (sound it out). It's a great concept to review the smaller businesses. I've often had a service from a small business and have felt "Gosh! I wish I could tell everyone about this horrible business!". Or the opposite. Sometimes. I've been working in retail for a while so I feel I can give quaility feedback on my experiences. All in all, great website concept, fun to use.

Ha reviewing the reviewer ... Only been on this site for about a month and have found some amazing places on here to use. I love the fact that they plug the "small business" more than the larger companies. Word of mouth is amazing especially if a business is dishing out poor service. The best reviewers are definitely the customers themselves, have really enjoyed sitting back and reading some fantastic service, and some shocking ones as well. The general public need to know if they are going to get ripped off, will receive terrible food or just rubbish service in general. An absolute bonus is the gift card incentives, a great idea. The only downside I have noticed is I've emailed WOMO twice now, over 2 weeks ago enquiring about missing points and after information and still no reply (being a small business owner myself, I find communication so very very important and find it a bit rude when it's not reciprocated). I've also noticed a few businesses and their families "reviewing" themselves on WOMO. It kind of detracts what WOMO are all about and I think we all hope they can find a way of stopping this, as this genuine customer word of mouth concept is the best I've seen ..

Glad you enjoying WOMO, its a great concept! I know its frustrating waiting for a reply from the WOMO team, please be patient with them as someone will get back to you soon. At times I have had to wait a long time for a reply to my queries, but eventually a team member would send me a response.

Be assured that the WOMO team are clever to figure out the insincere reviews and/or those which are made by family members or the owners of the business themselves. Us as WOMO members can flag a review if we feel there is something not quite right about it, and the WOMO team will then investigate our concerns.
