the wheaty is so civilised and fun! you can sit in the beer garden or out back where great bands play, or grab a table inside and chat with friends.

The wine and spirits menu is extensive, as is the beer and cider menu, with four different glass sizes to choose from, which I really like!

This pub is more of a lazy drink and good chat kind of place, rather than a raging night out kind of pub. It's really lovely but can be a bit boring.

One fantastic thing about it, is that it is very gay-friendly. So it has an inclusive and open kind of feel to it.

If you're looking for something a little more grown-up and relaxed, you'll like the Wheatsheaf!

It must be a good pub because there was absolutely nowhere to sit. There seemed to be an endless maze of rooms/areas and a garden, so you get a lot of choice to what atmosphere you prefer to be in. It was definitely cozy.

This pub is a must to visit. One of the best in Adelaide. Its heritage together with its modern facilities make it Adelaide's hidden secret. hmmm no secret here as the place was packed. live music, friendly excellent service.

Approximate cost: $10.00

Great little pub with good atmosphere, pool tables, beer garden, live music etc. Attracts quite a range of clientele, so is interesting for people-watching as well! It can get a bit loud inside though, maybe to do with the wood decor etc, which is aesthetically very nice

I used to frequent the place quite a bit but not so much any more. The live music they have is quite good and the local beers they have on tap are also good however the bar staff are the most arroagant and rude people I have ever met and for that reason alone I do not go there any more. There has been more than one occassion where I have been treated poorly by the bar staff.

What a great atmosphere at this old character Hotel. There was a musician playing in the background and several groups meeting in a couple of rooms as well as a bar. I was meeting with a knitting group and people were happy and we even had a fire in the fireplace.
