The first thing that happened when we got to this cafe was that we were harrassed by a very annoying woman. We were after lunch and all we wanted was to see a menu. Not only did she block the path to the menus she stood millimetres away to tell us in detail the soup of the day and about a million other things we could have that we weren't interested in. The food itself was nice but very overpriced. $12 for a toasted cheese sandwich just because it came with a salad I didn't want. The annoying lady interrupted us halfway through eating to tell us that the pots of cyclamens were for sale. It got to the point we considered doing a runner just because we didn't want her in our faces again. Not worth going again.

This is a divine little tearoom/cafe. The staff were super friendly. The devonshire tea is just wonderful and very yummy. I loved their big lavender scones with raspberry jam. They melted in my mouth. I hope to go back again very soon !!!!
