As a longtime customer of Vince and his staff, I didn't hesitate to take an overseas visitor friend to Vince when she needed an eye test and new glasses. She was greeted with the same friendly, efficient and cheerful service that this family business affords all its customers, and for which it is reknowned. The eye test was thorough with great attention to detail and staff took their time to help her select frames which truly suited her. My friend was greatly impressed by the exacting service and great professionalism, whilst not being rushed to make decisions. Thanks so much to Vince and Andrea for making this such a positive experience for us both.

Having worn prescription glasses for 40 years, I have visited many optometrist and eyecare providers. However I was amazingly impressed with the thoroughness and care I received at Vince La Rocca.

On my first visit here they were so welcoming and helpful but not in a high pressure salemen way. I felt they genuinely wanted to help me. The eye test that was done on me was the most through one I have ever received. This was bulk billed through Medicare. The optometrist took plenty of time to examine, explain and give me options available to me. This was certainly not a get-em-in-get-em-out thing. I chose to have multi focal lenses and also disposable contacts.

The help and honest opinions of the staff in choosing frames were amazing and they spent much time with me explaining lenses and pricing and helped me choose in my budget. They worked out how to maximise my rebate on my private health fund. In the end the entire glasses and products were very reasonable and affordable.

12 months later I went back to replace my badly scratched lenses. Vince remembered my name and also my partner's name. He asked about my recent holiday and was very helpful. He gave me tips on how to prevent my glasses becoming scratched again and also cleaned my glasses and replaced the nose pads without any prompting from me. As a customer they also send imformative newsletters.

The quality is top notch however they are a little more pricey than the chain stores, but you do get what you pay for.

From the first visit to them 2 years ago to the present, the service I received is second to none. I cannot reccomend them more highly.

Have had the same staff for ages - family business and it shows! A little difficult to access but worth the effort. No fancy conjob "two for one" deals but just honest old fashioned service. Have the latest photographic methods to check for diabetes related eye problems.

Vince has the amazing ability to remember your name even after years. The service here is second to none and I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone.

Please don't mention the Richmond Football Club though :-).

Needing new glasses, I returned to this business after being happy with it in the past. I'm glad I did. Sometimes it's when things don't work out first time that you learn whether a commitment to customer service is for real or not. One lens in the new pair of glasses wasn't right; when I went back to say so, there was no fuss at all; a second eye test was done, and the lens replaced - at no charge. It still wasn't right; they worked in with my eye specialist to get the right metrics for my eye and provided a third eye test and lens - again, without fuss or charge. They were great, and I recommend them highly.

I needed new eye glasses, and was recommended to here. very happy with the service, professional staff with lots of knowledge and experience. got the glasses with in a week, very happy!!

What a refreshing change to go somewhere with knowledgeable staff that you can trust and who treat you with great respect. My eye test was the most thorough I have ever had and they had a great range of frames to choose from. The staff were very helpful with my selection and also very friendly. I will now be purchasing all my spectacles from Vince!!

I went in to get a standard eye test and came out needing glasses for reading and concentrated work. I was in shock to say the least. However the staff, from Michael who did the initial eye test to Vince who assembled my glasses and Katrina who fitted them and helped me choose them, the service was friendly,professional and exacting. Throughout every step everyone was kind and supporting. A particular heads up to Katrina who helped me honestly and expertly help me choose my frames-thanks :) As these were my fist glassed I really couldn't mark the value or the quality higher than 3 stars 'cos I don't have a comparison, however I will definitely choose to use this service again.

I went into Vince La Rocca Eye Care to get my eye's tested, this was my first time. The staff at Vince La Rocca Eye Care were extremely helpful in answering my first time questions and were extremely friendly throughout the proccess. Although I am lucky enough to not require any glasses yet, I will defiantely be going back there when the time comes. Wouldn't hesitate to reccomend to all my friends and family! A must visit optom for people wanting professional service with a smile everyday!

Not only do they offer service with a smile, excellent value for money, but they also have an excellent after sales follow up program to make sure all is going well with your prescription and level of service.

Vince and his associates have a professional approach that translates into personal service and care of the individual. As a customer, I receive attentive, caring assistance whilst going through the process of updating eye glasses. I have had advice from Vince even when I wasn't a customer. I am always amazed when Vince remembers my name, especially after a long absence. These are people you can trust.

You can't go past Vince and Michael for an extremely professional service in looking after your eyes. Whilst not the cheapest in town, you can't beat their professionalism, attention to detail and the attentive and friendly service provided by Mary and Andrea.

A great business. Vince and his team are friendly and professional at all times. They go out of their way to find solutions to the customer's problems. Customer wants/needs always seem to come before getting "a sale out" of you. After sales service is outstanding.
