This business used to be great, but after a recent change of management, they are now hopeless. I was a loyal customer for over 12 years. Recently, my cleaner simply did not show up. I was given no notice that this would occur. When I contacted them to ask why, they said (falsely) that they had called and left me a message, despite being told numerous times that I was not contactable by phone and despite all prior communications being via text and email. Then they couldn't even find me a replacement. Avoid at all costs!

I have had a regular fotnightly clean for a long time. This takes 2-3 hours. I wanted a deeper clean and Tydiis website looked really good and professional so I booked their spring cleaning package which promised the full works including walls, light fittings, oven etc. They quoted me 6-7 hours for the job, they were expensive at $33 an hour, more than their competitors, but I thought they would do a thorough job and be worth it.

Unfortunately, when I arrived home only about 70% of the items listed in the package had been done. Specific things listed not complete were: under the bed, floors still dirty, bathroom grout not scrubbed, mirrors not cleaned, ceiling fans and light fittings not cleaned, marks still on walls, kitchen appliances not cleaned, top of fridge and wall hangings not dusted, laundry not cleaned.

When I emailed to complain the office response was 'well the cleaners say your house is clean'. It took 8 emails back and forth for the company to accept that if someone books a package of items, all of those items should be completed.

Finally, they sent a cleaner back for 1 hour only to complete some of the items outstanding. I really had to push hard for them to agree to this.

When the young guy came back, he told me he doesnt have any interest in skills in cleaning but likes Tydii as they pay a lot and he can make the work last a long time. He was incredibly slow, for example took 30 minutes to wipe 3 ceiling fans, a job that takes me 10 minutes.

So, in my experience, Tydii doesn't provide the service they say they will, and will drag the work out so you are paying a much larger number of hours than you need. For the actual service Tydii provided, my normal cleaner could have done that in 3-4 hours. Yet Tydii charged me 8 hours and over $260 for the service, and then didn't even complete it!

Perhaps worst of all though, they really couldn't care less about my feedback.
