Food reasonable, VERY understaffed. Had to wait in line to order and was told to order on the app (no thank you)
Also couldn't get drinks for ages, not even water as there was no staff behind the bar. I was not the only annoyed customer there tonight. A pretty full bistro and 3 staff running around like headless chickens.

I was with my family for mothers day... The food was disgusting, I ordered a veal scalapini 28-00 its was smaller than a kids meal.. The sauce was dark a few peas and a few beans,,, looked like dog food.... my family wasn't impressed with the food and price also we will never go here again unless you change chefs.. i can cook the food better....... The staff gave me my money back .... NEVER AGAIN

Fairly average. Pricing is cheap. Lots of elderly people around thanks to all the discount coupons offered. Food is not bad but not fantastic either. Handy location on Nepean Highway close to Southland.

Ye sit is elderly city, but that's because of the shop - a - docket scheme. $5 lunch or dinner with your voucher. Meal was nice, but basic. Not much to it. Staff are nice but the décor needs a revamp.

We have dined at the Tudor Inn around 4 or 5 times. I dont know why we keep thinking that each time will be better than the last. Three times we have had to return food for being off and the last and final time happened tonight when we ordered one of their 'signature dishes' Beef Burger had a few bites and immediately realised that it didnt taste like beef but very something very sour. We both took bites and immediately knew it wasnt right. Its a shame to have to leave such a bad review but i feel i should warn people as the food standard is not up to stratch especially if you are use to good quality food. The staff seem quite nice and its a good size place to make it a really good family place. However the food quality is really appalling and the value for money is also not good. It could be so great as there doesnt seem to be many good family restaurants in cheltenham .. sorry :(

Approximate cost: $25

We popped in a for a quick lunch recently when we shopping in the area. There was quite a lot of elderly people having lunch. The food was alright but pretty average. Not a place for a special occasion but somewhere to fill up your tummy on a rainy day !

I go here often with my parents for a quick good meals. The staff are always nice and the food is hot and delivered quickly. The menu is varied and daily specials are always different.

The decor hasn't changed in the 10 years I've been going there, but the food has always been good.

Approximate cost: $18-30

As at Feb 2011 things seem to be different than these older reviews. I started going here with my Mum & two friends on a wet Monday lunch just before Christmas. Good crowd & it is Seniors day with a $10 plus $1.50 soup or dessert. There is no salad bar & one dinner roll & a butter pack with each meal. The food is good and ample. The service is a little slow which we told the lady who seemed in charge that day. The decor/atmosphere is great and we sat near the grand piano. There is free coffee for seniors that day & a raffle ticket. There should also be a $2 per meal voucher for the next meal visit which they sometimes forget & it is not advertised. Having lived in the area since 1957 this was first visit and we have been back several times since and recommended to friends who have turned up and like it. However this week it all fell apart and staff are to blame, staff I have not seen before. This venue keeps the entrances(3) bolted until meal time and this is the cause of the complaint. There is a passage way into the bistro off the side street & a Nepean Hwy entrance. The passage way is open to the door of the bistro. On Monday Feb 21 we went there and had a good night and meal. Used the first vouchrs we got the previous Friday & got two more for the next visit($4 worth). We arrived on Wednesday at 5.35pm with my niece(who had a stroke 10 months ago) & her nearly 14 year old daughter who had a Year 8 night at her convent. We decided to feed them there before dropping them off at Mentone. My niece is licensed for security(has business with husband) & gaming so knows the ropes. AS my mother is over 83 & ailing with Parkinson's, osteo-p & heart problems she needs to sit down quickly and can't stand or walk for long and has a 4-prong walking stick. One has to enter from the badly surfaced carpark(we parked at the side street near the side door to the Bistro that night) to the gaming area and thru there is a sizeable darkened room with soft seats which can be called a vestibule of which the bistro door is at the other end. There are two TV screens there. We needed my young niece t have access to the vestibule & got met with these strangers talking unintelligible nonsense. All I wanted was for them to get this girl in and that was easy as they could open two doors or have them opened for a couple seconds by someone in the bistro so she would avoid going thru the gaming area. Simple but not these people. I asked for the manager & they said OK and then hedged abut this & it did not happen. My mother culd not stand & we left the venue going to the Cheltenham RSL opposite the airport wher we were most welcome and spent $79 between us. We await the ALH Group to reply top the e-mail we sent that night but nothing so far. WE want to resume our new found venue without this nonsense. Staff can be very bad for business at tims and not good in these financially difficult times. I have run my own businesses over the years & now retired(I am nearly 62). I am prepared to amend if we settle this night with the venue.

Approximate cost: $Seniors $12
