I like this cafe. I find the staff are always friendly and food is delicious. It is a great place to hang out at on a hot afternoon.

These guys make one of the nicest pizzas and pasta. Reasonably priced and well presented. A must try for lunch or dinner.

Great selection of food, occasionally had to call over the staff if I wanted another drink however they were all still friendly and had a positive attitude. Atmosphere was exceptional and is one of the best restaurants in the Woden area by far.

Babar is average. The staff aren't amazing but they're not the worst, the food is OK but not amazing, and the prices aren't particularly impressive either. I'll often chose Babar simply because Woden doesn't have any other options to speak of. Lunch and dinner are definitely better than their Breakfast options which have been very poor every time I've been. Oh, and can someone tell me why their chairs are so low and their tables so much higher?

The food here is very good, but sometimes the service is lacking quite a bit. On a good day the staff are very helpful. The cakes are awesome and taste as good as they look

Babar's is a favourite for friend and I to meet up on a Friday afternoon for drinks or coffee. The outside area is great, and heated in winter, and has flaps that protect from wind, rain and sun. The patisserie selection is fantastic.

I have only been there once for lunch and would not go back. I was with a group of 6 and everyone had a problem with the food and service including raw meat being served.

This is a restaurant strictly for poeple who are working in the area only (for lack of choice). It looks moderately up-market; however, the service is so poor, combined with average food, that it's anything but... they didn't seem to know the most basic things about food or drink...or service...

I have been here a number of times for lunch and the food is always great. I think it is very good value and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The space outside is a great place to sit in the sun. The cakes and cookies are also great.
