Transcorp Australia were champions! We had Lam and Manoli on the day and we couldn't have asked for more professional and courteous guys. The entire experience was amazing with the sales team and the operations manger keeping us in the loop throughout the whole experience. Highly recommend this great company who treat you like a person rather than just another number.

Also... for those looking for a moving company that doesn't smash the crap out of your stuff, and spends the time to literally wrap ALL your furniture with padding... this is the group. They clearly understand that doing good business means you stay in business!

Money wise, your charges were very much within my budget.

To Nate and Tom. My refrigerator was a "big pain in the you know what" but you didn't complain or get angry. You are two of the nicest young workmen I have dealt with in a long time. You were both fast and treated my things well.

Thankyou for the damage to our personal effects when you moved us from Melbourne to Brisbane in December.

You damaged over 30 pieces of my personal effects and have despite admitting negligence, are being very unhelpful. I have been told to contact all tradies and get quotes for all items damaged and to submit the quotes, which is absurd given how many items they failed to take care of. I have timber furniture gouged, torn couches, stained couches, they stacked my pot plants on top of each other and they arrived dead. They threw my computer gear and home phones into a draw and they all arrived broken. My deep freeze has the side smashed in and all of my bedroom furniture is gouged our scratched.

I have requested a measly settlement amount of $3000 from them and they are not interested in any good faith gesture to help us out. I can assure them that our damages far exceed the amount requested to put this all behind us.

I have all the photos and written admission of negligence from the company and yet, they are still unwilling to help. They suggest that 'How do we know what these things cost if you don't get a quote?' The repair of my two large Freedom couches, my freezer and my bookshelves will cost more than the requested settlement.

Be aware that they used contractors to move our personal effects, and the truck was unpacked and repacked before it got to me. I have blue and green stains over alot of my goods that will not come out. Also, as the removalists were unpacking they had the nerve to tell me that I had too much stuff, and that I waste my money!

And to be clear, I took out 10k of selected insurance with them, but have been advised that despite ticking the 'full cover' and 'replacement value' on the insurance form, that it does not cover me, as the damaged items were as a result of negligence, not accidental.



DO NOT MOVE WITH THIS COMPANY! I HAVE THE PHOTOS AND PAPERWORK AND WITNESSES TO BACK UP ALL MY CLAIMS.

Just wanted to give a big thank you to the team today (Shane, Kennedy and Adrian) who took care of our move. They did a brilliant job - extremely careful and accommodating.

I used these guys when I moved house and I must say I was extremely happy that none of my furniture nor my personal belongings were damaged in transit nor when they were unpacking the truck. These guys were extremely careful when handling moving anything and they worked as quickly as they could so that they wouldn't overcharge me which was great. They are extremely friendly and don't overcharge the customer. I was really happy with these people as I had used another furniture removalist before and they were rude and charged double as well as charging back from depot to depot which is awfully expensive. I was also happy that they arrived on the day required and when they were running a little bit late they rang to let me know so that I wouldn't panic which is very considerate of the customer.

and now that most of the dust has settled regarding unpacking boxes & refurbishing etc, etc...

I have time to send this email, supplementary to a phone call I made to 'The big Kahuna' on the day to personally & verbally express my thanks (when I was unable to get through so I spoke with his assistant instead!)

about the excellent service all throughout the process; from dealing with your very good self, (which landed the commission, organised & prepared the logistics for the removalists), to the follow up emails, confirmation call/s and the move itself...Muzzas' initial assessment of the job; the loading & unloading;



All of which minimised the fear/pain & loathing of moving house & what can be called truly one of life's most execrable necessities!:"The horror..."



I hope that next time I have to move, (Transcorp will be my first consult...) I can afford the next level & ask for the whole 5 star shebang, including packing & wrapping!

(and of course the same team, if at all possible!). The crew you sent, from memory, "Muzza?' & Justin, (even including Hemi), were FIRST CLASS & true professionals and artists of their craft and worthy of any extra bonuses the boss throws their way!

Chris and I wanted to personally thank our removalists (Herb and Justin) and packer (Michael) for executing our smooth relocation from Melbourne to Ocean Grove. The guys were so efficient and professional, but went beyond that to calming our nerves especially about moving in the wet. The long dry summer broke the night before our move delivering 40ml of rain on the contents of our shed that my husband and I had carefully sorted and pre-packed in the garden earlier in the day. Herb and Justin were careful to protect the dry contents of our home from the saturated out door furniture, plants, bikes and shed contents. Everything arrived intact and dry (including the previously wet things). While the other two were loading the truck, Michael worked like tirelessly to pack the vast contents of our cookware, china and glasses, joking from time to time that he had never seen a house with so much. You might let him know that it took a long long time for us to unpack into the smaller Ocean Grove house. And also that not one thing was so much as chipped.

We would not hesitate to recommend Transcorp to our friends and family.
