The meat here is only grass fed free range ....absolutely beautiful. Organic chicken frames and chicken feet great for chicken stock or broth....slow cook for 16 hours..full of collagen. The staff are great and very respectful. The owners are the best... I Always buy rump on special, chicken breast, Ham, beef sausages... you also get a bag of doggy bones for free. The sausage rolls and pies are absolutely great.

This is the best butcher in Sydney. I live in bankstown and got so fed up with the quality of meat sold in my area big prices.
My sister was the first to try the meat store she bought amazing lamb shanks so I made the trip down and bought the best eye fillet steak and was instantly impressed. The store lists where the meat comes from it does not smell like bleach or any other chemicals the prices are reasonable and always the quality of meat and the taste is like nowhere else in Sydney.

Purchased top of the range grain fed scotch fillet. In all honesty it's pretty average. We paid $40 a kilo but really worth about half that price

I am from Wollongong & was coming home from the airport & saw their 'special' sign on the back of their ute parked on Taren Point Road. I called in & was very impressed indeed with their eclectic range, quality, cleanliness & genuinely friendly & helpful staff. Came home & tried their meat over a couple of weeks & was most impressed. Have been back quite a number of times & even made a special trip from Wollongong to pick up my Christmas items. Their Christmas ham was the best that I have ever tasted, their sausages are great, their specials are 'genuine specials' & the whole shopping experience at The Meat Store is fantastic....nothing is a trouble to these people & I am sure I will keep shopping here if things remain as they are. I have recommended this shop to a number of my friends & it is up to them to drop in & try this store. I am only a retired coalminer but was treated with the greatest of empathy on every occasion I called in. Many thanks to the Management & Staff of TMS

I know some people who rave about this butcher. After spending about 15 minutes trying to get a park behind the store when there was no on-street parking, I was disappointed that this place didn't live up to the hype.
The New York Steak for $10.99 was good value but I found the chicken breast and bacon at average price. The have a limited range in the window and because it was so busy it was hard to see what products were on offer. I went out of my way to come here and probably won't come again because of the parking situation.
