This was my favourite place to have breakfast serving some delicious food and offering stunning views. Was a great way to start my day, very relaxing. My double espresso with my bacon and eggs each morning was great. Service with a smile and reasonable prices.

Breakfast is a bit of an institution midweek for the 'lycra lads' after an early morning ride, but also for the rest of us mere mortals in the downstairs indoor/ outdoor area. We often go there for a work breakfast meeting- staff friendly and efficent and food good quality & decent portions- kitchen service is fast and they serve the whole table in a group which is nice for everyone. As a lot of outdoor seating its nice in warm weather, but best to book inside table if cold or wet- still get the view but cosy inside. River views spectacular winter or summer with dolphins often frolicking right across the way. Sunday sess best for the young ones- always very busy and cool, relaxed vibe. Sunday breakfast buffet upstairs in the resturant a local institution- about $20- best to book. The upstairs resturant menu varies and we have always found the wait staff advice excellent. Balcony seating nicest. Downstairs resturant has different more casual lunch menu and cheaper. We live local so can walk as parking can be an issue

I had breakfast here a couple of times whilst in Perth. Loved the views, great food.

This is the first time I dined here and was pleasantly surprised as I didn't know what to expect. I can now understand why this place has been around for so long. In fact, we went on a weekday evening (although before 6 Jan so some people might not have gone back to work yet) and I was surprised to see the cafe downstairs full. We dined at the restaurant upstairs and it filled up while we were there.

We were seated in the balcony area so we could enjoy the views of the Swan River (we were protected from the wind by plastic blinds). For starters, we shared the tasting plate (terrine, turkish bread and dip, 2 mini quiche and some fish goujons) . For $28, it is pretty ok.

For mains, we ordered Jerk Chicken with coconut rice($28) Crispy skinned baramundi ($35) and 300gm sirloin fillet with red wine jus ($42). They were generously portioned and delicious!

I would recommend this place.

Service was pretty friendly too (not formal).

Kudos to cloth napkins as so many restaurants now use paper ones.

The staff were so nice and helpful. I had a steak as I don't like seafood and it was cooked to perfection! Had I liked seafood i think i would have been in heaven- the mixed seafood platters are both huge and crammed full- they looked very fresh.
I think the left bank is great value for money as all food is extremely fresh, high quality and cooked incredibly, the atmosphere is lovely, and the staff friendly.

I would definitely reccomend the left bank as a good value restaurant to go to for lunch or dinner.

Been to The Left Bank a couple of times with friends and it's always been a great dining experience. It is located by the river and has a wonderful vibe any time of the day. Love dining outdoors for a casual, laid back meal. The restaurant is also lovely and all the wait staff are pleasant. Food is delicious especially their seafood platters. For a fantastic dining experience by the river, this is the place to come :)

Awesome for a sunday session in summer. Beautiful views of the river and plenty of rooms and space for functions. A band plays on weekends to add to the up beat atmosphere. Food is lovely and an extemsive wine list to compliment your meal. Parking can be a pain when busy it can be hard to find a parking spot close by.

From catching up with mates to having a formal function, The Left Bank caters for it all. The Left Bank has not only a café, a vibrant bar and an award-winning restaurant, but also beautiful views to boot. The property is positioned on the shores of the river and showcases it's location through the courtyard, mezzanine, upstairs restaurant and indoor café areas.

Enjoyed a work breaskfast here on a Sunday. Had to pre-book and they were happy to hold for our group of 20. Coffee's were lovely, you can't beat the view. Food was really good and reasonably priced based on the location. Food for our group came out pretty much together which was nice, people didn't have to wait ages for others etc. Parking can be a pain, one of the group got broken in to (:() but that's not the restaurants fault
