Established in 1993 The Green Centre was one of Melbourne's first green waste recycling depots, pioneering the diversion of green waste from landfill and closing the loop back to the community. Over this time the company has expanded into blending a range of quality Instant Turf (including the ever popular Sir Walter Buffalo, firewood (including double split, sized especially for Pizza Ovens), garden soil and path and garden topping products.
Recycling Green Waste:
By speeding up traditional composting methods, The Green Centre is able to produce a high standard of garden mulch, essential during drought times, as well as 'dig in compost' for reviving old gardens or used as a blending agent in our range of premium soils.
As well as Organic Soils, Mulch and Compost, The Green Centre is able to provide you with a range of toppings (including Lilydale and Granitic Sand), composted cow manure and crushed rock. With our fleet of trucks and experienced sales team we are ready to service any projects from 1 to 10,000 meters.

Great service. Good quality timber. Delivery guys are really nice. We have used them a few times already this winter. Sometimes delivery time frame is a bit slow, but apologetic about same. I think the price is really reasonable also.

Very helpful with information over the phone. Great soil varieties for my garden...the seedlings in my vege patch have doubled in size already....and they could even deliver my Firewood at the same time!!! I've ordered my instant turf from them for next week! They were very helpful and know their stuff!
