The food here is divine! They take so much care in preparation and when it comes out, everyone can't help by turn their heads.

From the outside The Barn doesn't look so flash, but upon entering you will be impressed, the dining area is very nice with a wonderful relaxed atmosphere, staff are polite, attentive and friendly and our meals are always great. The do not offer a huge menu, but it is adequate. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his chargrilled kangaroo, whilst my chicken breast certainly impressed me. Beautifully presesented and so delicious.

This place is amazing! The staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful! They held great knowledge of the foods and wines they were serving and were able to assist us in picking the perfect food/drinks.

This really is a nice place to go for a meal, they are a bit expensive, but the meals are very high quality and delicious. Living close to Mclaren Vale is great for us because we don't have to travel far to enjoy this restaurant. The dining areas are wonderful, especially in the evening and the selection of wine is amazing. We prefer to go when it is not so busy, so a friday lunch is a good time. The staff were friendly and helped us to decide what to eat and which wine would go best with the meal. Very enjoyable.

One of my favourite places to dine in McLaren Vale. The food and service is 5 star, in a relaxed courtyard setting. Very friendly staff and great service. A little on the expensive side but I am always happy to pay for top quality. Also has a top quality wine cellar. Highly recommended.

We really love this place! usually go there a couple of times a year with my husband for a really nice meal out without the kids. Great seasonal menu, lots of import beers and lovely wine. Service is always prompt and friendly. Can wait to go there again.

We went to celebrate our friend's birthday. The menu was fantastic and offered a great variety, the tapas menu was delicious. The wine cellar is also a must see. :) Great service, great food, wine and desserts.

The Barn was a wonderful place to dine with a good selection of wine and beautiful food. We were sat in the courtyard and had a few selections from the tapas menu, their OMG Thai Beef Clusters were very delicious and the morrocan mutton backstrap cooked to perfection paired with roasted vegetables in filo tart that could convince any child to eat veges. This is a definite favourite. They have the best chips and schnitzel - sounds basic but when done well is fabulous. Many of the tapas style entrees are also delicious. I love the feel of the courtyard dining area with the vines etc - very relaxing.

The Barn on special occasions is a must. The food is fantastic especially the Eton Mess! to die for!!!! The owner is amazing and really friendly, always stopping for a quiet chat with customers. Either for a quiet dinner with loved ones or as a large group this place is just awesome! For fine food this place is highly recommended!
