AQWA really is under-appreciated by West Australians. It's a big aquarium full of fun an interesting stuff to see. The touch pool has plenty to get the kids some hands on entertainment and seeing those unimaginably massive rays, sharks and fish is quite humbling. The outdoor areas with seal and dolphin shows are quite entertaining as well.

I enjoyed visiting the aquarium. I think my favourite part was the touch pool, it really gets the kids intrigued and it's more hands on than just looking through the windows. Of course you can't go past looking in awe at the sharks and I love how the stingrays always look like they are smiling

I visited this aquarium on a recent trip to Perth. It is good value for money and the aquarium is quite good - not as good as the bigger ones in Sydney and Melbourne but still a good experience. The aquarium is divided into different sections of Australia and showcases the different marine life in each area. They also have a great touch pool where you can touch some interesting marine animals. They also have a really good 'underwater' where you can see sharks, rays, tortoises and fish through the glass.

Approximate cost: $25
