Thalassa Fish N Chippers, Sunbury

Came back from holiday recently and we couldn't wait to go back to our favourite take away shop! Still the same top standard food,very clean premises and friendly staff and they still remembered our names which makes us feel special. Their grilled fish is awesome and the chips very crispy and clean taste. Their value-packs presentation is superb. The burgers and sovelaki by far still the best.

I have been living in sunbury for years.Have been to all the fish and chips in sunbury and around sunbury.Undoubtedly Thalassa Fish N Chips is the best fish and chips in the area. You name it:taste, quality,service value. Its unbeatable. We go there at least 3 times a week, we buy family packs, salads, potato cakes, souvlakis, steak burgers,fish n chips, hot doughnuts. EVerything is fresh and unmatched to any others in the area.Their chips is so crispy and has such a clean taste, unbelievable! as their oil is not greasy fat, but chlestrol free vegetable oil. I wouldnt go to any other shop. Thalassa keep it up

I don't normally write reviews on food...but I had to with this. Bought a family pack with a greek salad. Without a doubt this is the worst fish and chips we have had that we can remember. The salad had to be several days old as a minimum. The lettuce, tomato, & cucumber where soggy and translucent. The tomatoes actually had white mould starting to grow (no it wasn't from the cheese).The chips where extremely soggy and tastless, the fish was extremely oily and strange looking?...if you squeezed it the oil would poor out of the batter, the fish sticks where soft, limp, tastless and dripping with old brown oil, the potato cakes where soft, oily tasteless, strange looking and tasted nothing like a potato cake should.The dim sims where floury, tastless and total rubbish. Overall I was absolutely appauled and discusted with the quality of food from this establishment....I couldn't believe it. Have they changed hands or something? I can understand maybe getting an ordinary bit of something in a meal but this was a family pack and every single item in the 4 portions served where just unedable.Totally unaccepatble and I advice that you stay well away so you don't have the displeasure of experiencing what we just did.

I pass several fish and chips shops on my way to go to this shop, because this has the best food in sunbury. I have tried everything:fried fish,grilled fish, sovelaki, juicy steak burgers and yummy crispi chips! Their food is unmatched!not to mention their hot jam dounuts amazing.Very efficient and friendly service very clean shop.Try it out and you wont be dissapointed. Many of my mates are also coming to this shop now and the also say its awesome!

read review and went to buy fish and chips, it was amazing.bought some grilled and fried fish. it was the best i have ever had. my son bought sovelaki and it was awesom . their chips was so crispy and nice. and very clean and nice shop . service was excellent. try it out and you will be amazed.The best in Sunbury.

I'm 32, have lived in Sunbury for 5+ years and have tried almost every fish n chippy in town.. these guys rock! Could be the best fish n chips I'v ever had... I had Flake, my partner had Grilled Fish, and they were both awesome. Seriously.. amazing! Try it, u wont be disappointed!

excellent fish fried and grilled both, very fresh and delicious, chips - almost oil-free and crispy, yummy!! Their souvlaki is the best in Sunbury. Burgers are unmatched very fresh and yummy. Very clean, excellent service, friendly staff and quality food. Have found the place I was looking for, wouldn't go anywhere else anymore!!

i love this place !!! their chips are great their potato cakes actually have thick potato not paper thin potato and their fish is excellent also not to greasy best fish and chips in Sunbury followed closely by Melba ave. staff are also friendly and service is great and quick 10 out of 10 :-)

These guys definitely make the best fish and chips ever! There are no two ways about this. We have tried every spot in Sunbury and keep returning to these guys as the food is brilliant. The prices are also very reasonable. The owner always likes to have a chat and overall cannot complain!
