Very pleasant competent experienced staff. They have bought an expensive machine that actually will make you a new crown while they are cleaning & filling your other teeth. Actually, it's at a vastly reduced price, as you do not have to keep returning to get your crown sized up, etc. Well worth a visit to keep your teeth in good shape.

AARRGGHH!! eating lunch and broke a tooth off at the gumline. Rang Tassie Smiles Dental and was able to get an appointment the very next day. 50 minutes in the chair and I emerged with a new smile, the tooth was able to be saved and my smile is now complete again.

I've now been going to see Michelle for a couple of months for some root canal work, and would recommend her to anyone. Previously, I was seeing a dentist in Sorell, who was continually 'farming' me out to other dental 'specialists' around the city as he couldn't/wouldn't do the work.
I looked on WOMO (should have done that first rather than listen to friends!!), found Tassie Smiles Dental... and I'm now getting *all* work done in one place.

This is going to sound a bit weird, but I'm compelled to remark on the service at Tassie Smiles. I've never been moved to make this sort of recommendation, but they had the flyer for this site at the counter and I thought: yes.

I found them by googling "teeth staining hobart" or something, rang to make an appointment on Monday and had the appointment this morning (Wednesday). Extraordinary for a start.

I am 45 years old, have no cavities, but had extensive staining.
Michelle was happier, more competent, explained better what she was doing, was more gentle and spent more time with me than any other dentist. Ever. Unreal.

In my experience, most dentist are money grabbing, careless *&%$s. This is different. And I loved the building - AV Jennings' first display home in Tassie, or something like that. Great 40s fittings , beautiful view of the derwent with all required modern dental equipment and skills.
But like I say, just the best on every front.

I'm staggered. And I walk out with perfect, clean, white teeth - and no hard sell ion whitening which I didn't need after the best, most gentle and effective clean and check-up ever.

Dr Michelle Forsyth is very gentle and caring, numbs your gum before giving the injection to deaden your mouth.
Explains everything she is doing, and what needs doing for future visits.
Even got a goodie bag of toothpaste, brush etc before I left. Recommend Tassie Smiles highly.
