Tahune Forest Airwalk, Geeveston

What can't go wrong with being so high above such beautiful nature!! Amazing views high above the sky but you don't feel unsafe (something great for people afraid of heights). This place is a must for anyone visiting Hobart. You'll get some stunning photos no matter how badly you take a photo!

Spectacular! They views from up there are supurb and you can only hope to stay there that bit longer.

Not too much of a trek, so most anyone should be able to get up there.

A good experience, even for people such as myself who don't like heights. Though when I went, there were some bogans deliberately shaking the platform which didn't help my nerves. But the view was amazing and well-worth it.

Tahune air walk was beautiful.

Peaceful, lovely views. We took kiddies along and we found it safe and they had a fantastic time.

Picnic facilities were available.

This place was amazing! It terrified me a little as I am not great with heights, but glad that I completed the airwalk. Great views out over the rivers, trees and we saw snow capped mountains as well. There are a lot of different walks to do for varying levels of fitness, but to get to the airwalk there are a few stairs, but well worth it! The suspension bridge also is scary but the views make it worth it!

This is a beautiful walk in a beautiful place. We were left feeling a little underwhelmed but I think this is because we had already done a walk like this on the mainland. It is a good experience to have anyway and gives you a great view of the forest that you wouldn't otherwise see. You could spend at least half a day here with the extra walks that are available around the area and the drive in was interesting with the logging forests surrounding you.

Great place to visit!! its a great experience for everyone the air walk is beautiful with great views and there really is something for everyone, they also have a nice cafe to have lunch the chicken burger there was nice and they have a gift shop as well which has some lovely things. defiantly recommend you have to visit at least once.

This is a great attraction to take the family as it makes the forest easily accessible. It is a fair drive from Hobart but well worth it.

There is a section of the walk that is only for the brave hearted - I won't ruin the surprise - but I wasn't game.

Entry to the Tahune Airwalk also lets you go on any of the other walking trails available in the forest. The airwalk is 20m above ground and gives views over the river and huon pine trees. There are also walks on swing-bridges and through the huon pine. To get to the airwalk there are quite a few steps so you need to be reasonably fit.
