Stomp Fitness is Hobart's newest and most innovative gym and Australia's first 'Ex-Gym'. We are colourful, fun, very social and family friendly, we've even incorporated outdoor grass in our Stomp Group and Stomp Cardio Machines areas so everyday feels a little like summer! We are playful but equally dedicated to equipping you to reach your health and fitness goals. We believe if you enjoy what you do you'll keep doing it, so we've created a gym that makes this a reality.
Our Stomp GroupFitness formats are a totally unique blend of entertainment media mixed with contemporary fitness equipment - Exergaming. We offer over 40 Group Fitness sessions per week that allow anyone of any age. ability or background to participate together! We have formats for weight loss, toning, fitness and pure fun.
Our cross training area is called Stomp X. This is where you can tone up, muscle up, get stronger and get more powerful for life or for sport or to recover from injury. Stomp X blends our Stomp Group activities with our bodyweight suspension training system called Cross Core 180. Stomp X gives a brilliant cardio/resistance workout that benefits everyone! We also utlize the fantastic Finnish invented Gymstick as an option with the Cross Core 180.
Our resistance area is called Stomp Strength. We don't believe in wasting your time, so we wanted to utilize the most efficient training system possible which would also use free-weights. As a result, we are the only gym in Hobart to do away with costly and complicated resistance machines. We use Power Racks as they are the safest, most effective freeweight training system available. Power Rack training allows you to reach your training and fitness goals more successfully than any other form of resistance training!
Along with our Stomp Group area, which is perfect for calorie burn, losing weight and improving your cardiovascular fitness, we have a dedicated Stomp Cardio Machine area which houses state-of-the-art rowers (Oartec) and crosstrainers (e-Glides), again totally unique to the Hobart CBD.
When you've finished training we have a Chillout Area we call the Verandah, which contains our comfy outdoor furniture and NBN Wifi which is free for members.
We are gamifying fitness to engage and motivate you to the max. You can even come in and play Virtual Tennis on our BIG SCREEN and stage speakers, on our artificial grass with our carbon fibre innovated Tennis Rack attachments, you can even bring your own tennis racket! We've also gamified our Cybex Treadmill so you can run through the forests of New Zealand, the faster you run on the treadmill the faster your run through the forest....very cool!

What a great bunch of people. Your enthusiasm and welcoming atmosphere are terrific! I would recommend Stomp to anyone looking for fitness and fun in the same package.
I have been trying working out at home and gyms but nothing got me as motivated about fitness (and having a jag-load of fun while doing it) as the guys at stomp.
