Yum yum! Nothing better then some fish and chips down by the beach! If your willing to wait a few minutes for your order that is theybate a busy little shop but do have lovely food!! :)

We bought fish and chips from here and ate them on the beach. The shop was busy and the staff worked hard to provide the orders quickly. Friendly and clean shop and really enjoyed the butterfish and chips that we bought.

We went here the other day on the first day of 'proper' summer- it was packed to overflowing, and a half hour wait for our fish and chips. I was really impressed with how the staff remained calm, worked quickly, were polite to customers who were clogging up the shop making it difficult for anyone to get in or out. And to top it off, the food was beautiful! Large pieces of butterfish, and a generous serving of chips with lots of crispy ones! Perfect

A must-try! Their whiting fish is deliciously salty and crispy, every single bite of it is a bliss. Scallops is nice and juicy too, where both scallop and juice all wrapped up in a crispy batter. Prawns is OK, we like that too. They have seafood combo which is a good deal.

If you love a steak sandwich, this is the place to buy one. They make the best!! Its down by the beach and a great place to grab a bite to eat and eat on the beach.

I've been going to this fish and chip shop since I was knee high to a grasshopper!!!! The service is great, the food is fresh and the staff are exceptionally welcoming. Well done

i had heard good things about semaphore fish and chips and so on the way to the beach we decided to give them a go. However the food was not great and was pretty expensive. Not one i would highly recommend.
