I went to see a film advertised as on at 11 am only to find no films on. Wasted my day, very diappointing

Very nice cinema, my wife and I love visiting this cinema for new movies. The seats are comfortable and it is better to see movies on a weekday if you don't like it crowded. Many lovely restaurants in the area.

Approximate cost: $20

Best place to go to the movies in Sydney. Best value for tickets and candy bar items, the Ritz has still managed to keep prices down whilst other cinema chains prices continue to increase. The venue has a nice, old school charm about it and it is close to lots of restaurants if you want to team up movies with dinner. I would recommend to everybody I know.

Best place to go to the movies. Art deco old school atmosphere and cheapest tickets in the Eastern suburbs. The new bar upstairs is also great for a quick drink or snack before the movie. Love the place

Approximate cost: $10

Love this place....good value, old style charm and a good choc top! Only suggestion is that they get in an expert to revamp the cocktail area and teach the staff how to have a bit of bar-service style. It's such a great idea to have, but it just misses the mark for atmosphere and coolness.

Another Randwick institution. Best value cinema around that has continued over the year to keep ticket prices down.

Approximate cost: $10

Great cinema, good screens, sound and service. On a Tuesday and Wednesday night you can see the latest releases for $8, UNBEATABLE!! Also the line was huge when I went to see a film recently, spanning the entire foyer, and the great staff there served all those customers within 5 minutes.

Prices have been creeping up over the past few years but definitely still cheaper than the major chains. Also great that they have cheap Tuesday on Wednesday now as well. Join their page on facebook to hear about other specials too. Good range at the candy bar and the bar makes it even better to chat about the movie after.

Approximate cost: $15

Slightly cheaper than main chain cinemas e.g. Greater Union/Hoyts. Shows a good selection of the main releases (although not all of them) and many in 3D as well. Also shows good variety of independent films not shown in major chains. Good concession stand with bar upstairs for alcoholic beverages if desired, which can be taken into cinema. Five stars!
