Beautiful views at this place looking over St Kilda Beach. It is a little on the expensive side so I would usually just stick to one or two drinks

Great spot to go for a casual drink. It's a little on the expensive side. Cocktails are $18, so generally stop at one or two drinks and parking has to be paid for as well

Stunning spot for a few drinks. Love the view and it's right on the beautiful St Kilda beach. Crowd can be a little show-offy. Drinks are good and they have a great selection!

I went here tonight. Beautiful on a sunny day to sit here with friends and enjoy the view.
Great for drinks. One of my friends ordered a pizza and I had a slice, it was absolutely delicious! And I was tempted to go and order one for myself! Will next time for sure! :-)

I like the view, but as far as a restaurant goes, there should be more. I'm not too big on ordering from the counter, there's enough staff roaming around that there should be some sort of service. The food was good, although if you go for a Sunday brunch, make sure to go early. The place fills up fast and they stop serving breakfast items at noon sharp (kind of a disappointment...). If I were hanging out at the beach again, I would probably stop in again.

Approximate cost: $17

beautiful venue, great location- a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. great coffee, fantastic in summer- not worth going to in winter tho.

You get what you pay for. The high prices is a compromise for the first class food. The service is highly lacking and I would like to see his improve however food is delicious.

Delicious food, in an even better setting. The breakfast is a modern day take on old favorites, like the English black pudding.
Try their weekly specials for a real treat.
When your sitting outside though, you have to order at the bar.

Approximate cost: $20

We went for a work lunch (24 people) so had a set menu to choose from (4 of each course). The food was of a high quality and tasty however the chef was not prepared to cook the steaks the way people requested, all had to be medium. Given there was only 4 other people in the restaurant I felt that was quite lazy of the chef.

The service was ok, however the waitress was not very familiar with the dishes or drinks and constantly leaned over people to reach to the table.

The location is great however it is a bit on the expensive side.

Approximate cost: $25-$30

I really love going down to Amello to while away a Saturday afternoon / evening.

The service is basically non-existent, and the staff are a bit stuffy. The drinks are a bit on the expensive side with three drinks costing you a 20.

But all in all with the atmosphere and the view, when you're with the right group of people, this is an amazing place to spend a weekend afternoon / evening.
