We had the gourmet Pizzas. They were very good. Nothing to fault. Good food, good value, good service.

i love the fact they use spelt flour and really know how their toppings work together to maximise taste. my mum argued for ages trying to get them to make a pizza and choose her toppings but the chef kept explaining that different ingredients need to be cooked differently and so some things don't work well with others - I loved this - their pizza's are amazing, the pace has a cosy feel and their pasta is great. we are regulars.

Man this place is busy! Book if you want a seat on a weekend night. Their kitchen sink dessert pizza (Corona Crumble) is insane and very very nice. Gluten Free pizzas are their specialty.

Approximate cost: $~$18.00

Rustic, family friendly atmosphere. Pizza prepared fresh, right in front of you. Only the best quality ingredients used. Interesting, delicious pizza topping combinations- personal favourite is the Venerdi pizza

I am completely obsessed with this place, and am taking everyone I know there. The service is wonderful and effortless.
The gluten free pizza bases are the best I have tasted in 12 years of gluten-free life, and the toppings are classy, generous and creative. Corkage is a bit high, but wines by the glass are pretty reasonable (although served in the same glasses as the water, so be careful which you swig from!).
I've never managed to save room for a dessert pizza, but hopefully I'll manage it soon!

We had a meal there last week and will be going back. We had a couple of the gourmet pizzas and they were very tasty, but the main reason to eat here are the dessert pizzas. The corona crumble was one of the best things l've ever eaten. I'll definitely be going back.

Approximate cost: $15

A mecca for pizza purists, Pizza Farro has brought REALLY good pizza to Thornbury since opening in November 2006.
Thin spelt bases serve as a delighful base for gourmet toppings such as Osso Bucco. Vegetarians are well catered for with a veggo list that had this meat eater shunning the carnivorous options in favour of vegie delights.
Hang around for a dessert pizza and be seduced with Nutella, mascapone and fresh raspberries on a flaky base straight out of the wood-fired oven!
The service too, was exceptional - attentive and friendly. This is nicer dining, but also the place where the waitress will rock your baby while you finish your appetiser.

Approximate cost: $15
