Pink Frosting

A couple of weeks out from my son's first birthday, I used Pink Frosting because of its range of products and the promise of 20% discount on my purchase. Their site was easy to use. I selected the items and when I paid I also had to enter the date of my event, which gave me confidence I would receive the goods in time. Oh, how wrong I was.

Five days out my goods hadn't arrived and I contacted the site and spoke to the call centre. They couldn't work out what had happened to my order but were confident it would still arrive. The day before the party my items still hadn't arrived, it looked like they had been delivered to someone else in Queensland and I had called the site every day for help with no-one ever calling back!

The following week after the party I rang again to demand a refund (which wouldn't have even covered the time and stress of racing around Melbourne the day before the party to find the same products to replace what didn't arrive) and was assured that it was in progress. Another week went by, I rang again and was told that in line with their Ts&Cs the refund would take three weeks. Six weeks later I am still waiting for my refund. I call on a weekly basis to find out what is happening and no-one from that company ever knows what is going on or ever calls me back. It would have to be one of the worst service websites in Australia. Please save yourself the time, stress and heartache by not spending any money with this company. It borders on fraud.

I ordered our wedding chocolates from Pink Frosting and to be honest I was very disappointed with the service. When I ordered the chocolates the availability was "Available" what I didn't know was there was an expected 4 week wait on delivery. I made my order very early as they happened to have 20% off at the time, it would seem though that they have these sales very frequently so there wasn't any need to rush. I was bombarded with "special deal" newsletters constantly but couldn't get a reply to where are my chocolates. Nor any explanation as to why the wait.

After about 3 weeks I received my order it came by courier, I was home at the time and there was no knock at the door and I found my chocolates laying on the door step. Thankfully it wasn't a hot day and my chocolates had not melted. They were not packed just thrown in the courier supplied bag, no padding and no insulation to prevent them melting which was very disappointing.

The chocolates were of a very high quality, they didn't taste like cheap over sugared chocolate which was nice. Though I have seen the same products else where at comparable prices, without the delay.

Quality is good, Service is terrible, Value is average, Overall - Do your research, beware their sales happen weekly and check the availability because while it might be available it might also take 4-6 weeks or longer before you receive your order.

I came across this website by accident and fell in love with it straight away. Their web site is fantastic and really user friendly. The range and quality of their products is amazing. They also have some more quirky things too. The prices are really reasonable and I received my order earlier than expected. Fantastic
