Pikapu Modern Cloth Nappies

I have been using 4 brands of newborn cloth nappies through a nappy library and I found the pikapu newborns better than any of the others. The Pikapu AIO and the Pikapu cover with inserts never leaked, were really easy to put on (no fiddling with stuffing pockets or buttoning attachments), wash really easily and dry so much more quickly than any other brand I tried. My baby is now big enough to fit the larger size Pikapu on the smallest setting so we will be using these for all our cloth nappies now!

these nappies are amazing. i've used other cloth nappies in the past, and have found them bulky and hard to dry (we live in canberra, and it can be hard to get washing dry a lot of the year). we received our pack on tuesdat morning, and they went straight into the washing machine (there were 3 nappies, 3 boosters, 1 night booster, and a wetbag). they didn't get hung out until around 2 in the afternoon, and they were ready to be picked in by nightfall. washing was extremely easy (although it is better if you make sure the velcro is fastened to the tabs that are available, otherwise the nappies have a tendancy to get stuck to one another, sometimes leaving pilling), and were straightforward to hang. they came with an instruction sheet, with care instructions and extra tips. the nappies themselves are well constructed, easy to use, and are OSFM, meaning they can be folded down to fit smaller babies (there are no small babies in this household, but the nappies fit my daughter who is around 14kg, and they also fit my 5 y/o, who is 17kg). being velcro they can be adjusted more than snaps, and i found them really simple to use. no snap in inserts, no stuffing, just grab them off the line and use. after one wash i've had a nappy, with no boosters, last around the 4 hour mark (i didn't get a chance to test it any longer, she needed changing. on that note, though, the nappy contained all the mess), which is longer than a lot of nappies in our stash. using 3 of the normal boosters we used the nappies as night nappies, it lasted us from 8pm until around 8am, so 12 hours. the night booster also gave us the same night, although the night booster made for a slimmer nappy. both worked though, with no leaks, and no discomfort for my usually sensitive daughter. the wetbag is great for carting things around, be it a change of clothes when leaving the house, or wet nappies/clothes when out and about, with no leaks from the bag, or smells escaping. it also folds up nice and small, meaning it can be chucked in the nappy bag for future use without taking up much space.
