If you enjoy the relaxing and beautiful surroundings of the Dandenong Mountains and would like to have a great meal in a colonial atmosphere, Pie in the Sky is the place for you.

For warmer days, you are able to enjoy our balcony which admires the views of the mountains where as for colder days, this is just the space to make you feel cosy to settle in with a warm drink and one of our beautiful dessert pies.

Ever since 1993, Pie in the Sky prides itself in offering not only our award-winning selection of pies, but also the best scones enjoyed with freshly whipping cream and our homemade raspberry jam.

You also then have the choice to enjoy a cup of tea, hot chocolate or classic latte, with one of our delicious home made cakes, tarts or strudels. Our freshly made cakes is not like what you find in other shops - single portion made, not sliced from a whole cake.


Our key pie dish is the "Bowl of soup with floating pie and mash" - with your choice of any pie (though you might want to ask our staff for recommendations!)


Come down and enjoy our pies, eat in or take home - we sell Aussie Meat Pies, Mushroom Pies, Gourmet Pies & sometimes we have a "Flavour of the Moment" pie, where we try out new, delicious favours!

A great place to cost anytime of year thought especially in Winter when a good homemade pie or pastie will hit the spot!

Friendly staff, pretty prompt service. Value for money and yummy wholesome food.

I love a good meat pie and this restaurant has one of the best in the area. It's a little expensive to sit and eat in, but well worth it, the service is great, staff are friendly.

Had the scones and coffee. The scones were obviously microwaved and very small. The pies are not as good as they claim. I wouldn't return again.

Pie in the Sky has had great word of mouth for the area for a while now, and I can see why. It's a great place to stop by for a bite whilst in the area. The pies win a lot of awards for a reason, the beef and the pastry is quite outstanding. I had the beer-battered pie, which was as good as the awards say.

I'd say the price of the pie WITH sides is a bit too much, considering the price of your usual pie, but with all the positive word of mouth and extra business, you can understand the rationale. Also, I'd say that maybe they could cut down on the amount of items on their menu and streamline it based on the more popular items instead.

A great place to stop in and grab a bite when in the area. The menu has variety of meals, pies are DELISH and the Devonshire tea good too. Only downside it can get very busy and hard to get a table and if you visit the area in winter when it's snowed park in the car park behind at your own risk, it's quite hilly and steep and we witnessed people trying to park or leave and their cars sliding in snow into other parked vehicles or others waiting to park.

Heard really good reviews about this place and was not disappointed. The beef and burgundy pie was delicious. Service was good and quick. Will return with family and friends.

I have heard so much about it before coming . We went to have a lunch last sunday. Pie in the Sky definitely live up the legend of the pies. Great services, awesome pies, delicious scones and friendly environment. I still would go back! Great value and warm yummy food!

Great selection at Pie in the Sky. Great food and good value. Have been there twice now and even though we don't live very close its a lovely drive up through the hills with great views just to get there. Highly recommend.
