I recently bought some frames from here and got some photos printed. The range in the store is great and the prices are reasonable. They also had some great specials on frames. The staff are very friendly and we were so happy to hear that if you want your photos printed within the hour they only charge you $5 extra - no limit to how many photos you have done. They ended up having the photos ready in 45mins which is great and saved us having to come back the next day to collect them. The staff were more than happy to help us with anything and were so welcoming. I will definitely come back there whenever I need prints or frames.

I've know of this place for years but had never been inside until recently. I went in to print out some digital prints which was easy enough, the prints weren't the cheapest around but not too expensive so I didn't mind. Shockingly though I was there around 9am and got two enlarged prints (5x7) and a couple of regular prints, and they told me they wouldn't be ready until after 4pm the next day?! I thought that such a large store with in-house printing would only take an hour or so? That said, it's a huge store and also holds camera equipment, as well as a HUGE craft/scrapbooking section! I was lost in there for about 30 mins just looking at all the fun stuff!

When I first visited I couldnt believe how big the store was. So much camera stuff. I have found over the years that many online stores have since popped up so they seem to be carrying less stock but still a good place to visit to buy things and touch cameras. Great range of bags too. You can check their website to see if they have stock before visiting which can save a visit. Staff are very knowledable. I often recommend this place to my friends who are looking to buy a camera from a real bricks and mortar store rather than on-line. Like seeing the photos in the foyer area too taken ny local photographers. Always inspiring.

I buy quite a bit of basic camera equipment here, I like them because they don't treat me like a dummie.

Love this place for all my craft and photography needs. It's a bit pricey most of the time but its stuff that sometimes you can't find anywhere else. Love their stock of vellum papers and craft punches, some fairy unusual. Little cafe to have a sit down when your done shopping or browsing or leave hubby /mrs there while you wander off.huge store. Only downside is the cost of a lot of things I'd like . Overall a one stop shop for craft and photography needs.

My wife put me on to this shop a little while ago, the range is amazing, it has every possible photography thing I could ever want. I think the prices are reasonable too.

This place has been a regular of my mothers for ages, I'm only reviewing it as I take her there all the time so she can get her scrapping goodies which she just loves to do. The staff know her well now and treat her like gold, just like a friend which she absolutely loves. Every time we go there it is always busy with other customers so seems to be very popular. I know it's a photo place but their scrapping section only just gets bigger and if she can't find anything, they always make sure they can get something in for her. Very happy environment and lovely customer service, you will love it.

Wow this place is a scrapbookers heaven. I went to this store last week to enquire about a circular cutter that I was needing to do some craft work with my son. After trying to find a cutter from other scrapboopking shops with no success I was directed to try Photo Continental and I was not dissappointed. A lovely sales person at this store served me promptly and was able to provide me with a circular cutter. There is also a large variety of other cutters in different shapes and sizes when I need different cutters in the future. Well Done and I shall come back to your store again.

Approximate cost: $20.00

I have to admit, looks are very deceiving. From the outside this store looks a little run down and that it will be a small poky shop. What a surprise when I went inside! It seems to go on for ages, and it's very well organised into various sections.

I was only interested in frames, but what a selection! I spent way more time than I should have just browsing around, and the sales people were more than helpful, answering my questions in between serving other customers.

In the end, that's what won my business - the frames I really could have gotten anywhere, but the fact that they were so helpful and cheerful got me to spend my money there.

I must go back and have a look around at all the other supplies they have when I have some spare time!

So, today was the first time I have been to this store, and I have to say it was a little overwhelming. The place is huge, they have a massive range.
Today I was only interested in the scrap booking section, but did have a wander around and look at everything.
I must confess, I am neither a scrapbooker or craft fanatic of any sort. I lack the artistic gene entirely, as it happens. My mother on the other hand loves that whole world, particularly since her retirement, thus my visit on a search for her birthday present.
As a complete novice I admit I walked in an my jaw dropped. I was looking for a particular thing recommended by a crafty friend of my mums, and the second I walked in I knew I was in trouble :)
Luckily, there arer very friendly and helpful staff only too happy to answer questions and make suggestions. I did a bit of a wander around looking for my desired item and had no luck so sought out some assistance.
The sales person was super nice and incredibly knowledgeable. She discussed the pros and cons of my selected item and made some recommendations based on her personal experience with the product and feedback from other customers, which was fantastic.
I are really happy with it, but, if it fails to impress my mum, they have assured me of a refund or exchange for something more appropriate. Yay!

I went to photo continental with my mother to look at scrapbooking papers. They have an amazing selection of papers from a variety of distributors (one of the biggest range I have seen in Brisbane). The prices are similar to other places but it is worth travelling to see the range.

Approximate cost: $1.50

Pretty good service, only one experience where the girl was less than enthused with my questions. But well worth the extra money for printing. They do an excellent job at colour balance and my photos look great. Well worth paying that little bit extra.
