Our old boy was such a funny tough old character of cat, it was a difficult thing to do when we had to say goodbye and it left us with a big feeling of loss. It was also our first time going through the loss of a pet. Together with the mobile vet, pets at peace made the experience much much easier, they collected him from the mobile vet and when it was time to bring him home again they kept me well informed and delivered him with care, beautifully presented in his polished photo box with a rose and card. We are very grateful to them.

When we had to have our elderly dog put to sleep, we had Pets at Peace cremate him. They picked his body up from the vet, cremated him, and sent his ashes back to us a couple of weeks later. We chose a scatter box for his ashes so we could bury them at home (they also offer urns and permanent boxes).
His remains came back packaged beautifully, in a lovely box with a faux rose on top and a hand-made tag with his name, inside the box the remains (in plastic) were inside an organza bag, with potpourri scattered in the box. It was lovely and really gave the impression that he'd been treated with dignity and care. It was a great comfort to be able to bury his ashes at home.
If you're unfortunate enough to lose a pet, I'd recommend this service - it's a little expensive but totally worth it.

My beloved dog passed away and naturally I was devistated.I really wanted his memory to remain as he passed away too young,so i contacted pets at peace, they arranged to pick my deceased dog up from the vet and took him to a pet cematorium.A few days later they arrived with a beautiful urn with my dogs ashes inside, the lid sealed, and a plaque with my choice of words.A beautiful display piece with a lovely memory.I have used them twice now

Approximate cost: $400
