Always good food and service best chips around

My fiancé and I eat here all the time! Whenever it's take out night Select Chickens is our first choice. We've never had anything but the best service and amazing tasting food! It's always nice when Greg answers the phone and recognises our order!! Definitely can't fault this place!! We'll be sticking to our local fave for years to come!!!

No issues here, the friendliest staff and the most delicious moist chicken, crisp chips and bulging burgers, their yiros is really good as well. Always great, have recommended to friends, who have been frequent customers with no complaints, just praise.

Service with a smile!

Some friends and I picked up a chicken and chips a couple of months ago, the chicken was great, not overcooked, moist on the inside and a nice crispy skin (the way I like it) chips were crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the staff were great, quick with our order, in and out in no time.

Good food but average customer service, I unfortunatley didn't specify that I wanted veal snitzel and they didn't ask, yes I got chicken! When I saw them cutting it up I said I'm sorry but I wanted veal, they made me a veal and then after much glaring and whispering between the staff i was asked what they should do with the chicken snitzel, I said I didn't really want it but if I had to pay for it I would, her remark was well you didn't specify and I'm not a mind reader!!!! I said in response to be fair you didn't ask and made an assumption! Really as the person behind the counter she should of asked. Won't be back no matter how good the chips are!

P.S I also got slugged the $10 bucks for it!

really really tasty chickens, just moved into the area about 2 months ago and was bombarded by my neighbours on how great this place is and them seemed almost proud its in their area and i agree

Excellent 10/10 everytime! My partner and I are a regular customer, Best chicken shop we have ever been to, excellent service, good price, best tasting food. Never had 1 complaint, thank you Select Chickens.

My Local Chicken n Chips shop - also serving fish, hot dogs, schnitzel, crumbed sausages, pineapple fritters etc etc.

Best chips in Adelaide I have ever eaten, that are perfectly crunchy and have just the right amount of salt.

This shop is always busy, and it does take phone orders, so considered phoning ahead to avoid waiting times in shop.

There are healthier take away options available, with multiple salads, and healthier cuts of chicken.

The chicken burgers are simply massive, and delicious!

Staff are always friendly and happy to have a chat with customers.

Recently installed EFTPOS is now available also for customers.

i made my son look for somwhere to put a reveiw on and he found this site.
It was great to see more feedback for this place and to know i am not the only one who thinks this place is fantastic.
Being predominantly a chicken shop i never tried there fish and so this easter, i did try them out for easter, fish was great tasted very clean not fishy ( if you can understand what i mean ), and there chips WOW great, salads WOW great, and the staff is so so so nice even when they were really really busy.

better than most other local places. i have just moved to the area and tried them all, everyone i mean evetyone talks about there food , I will been eating chicken and chips from this shop. the food has been consistantly good. The chips are always fresh and the schnitzel packs are huge. its a hit with our family.
