Pacific Rim, Berwick

Every thai restaurant makes their food slightly different from others depending on the province. So this one makes there food a bit more saucy compared to some other Thai restaurants. I agree that they do charge "berwick" prices to eat in (around $16-$18 for a main) but the take away is cheap (around $12 for a main). The portions are pretty big for eat in or take away & i've never been charged for the take away containers after not being able to finish my dinner when eating in.

The facilities are clean and the restaurant is large with tables on two floors. Service was fast and efficient.

The food prices are typical for a Berwick restaurant - a little too high for what you get.

The food was ok, but the seasoning was a little to sweet for our tastes. The portions were a little on the small side considering the price, but inline with "Berwick" prices.

One thing that did surprise me was the fact that they charged for the containers to takeaway the leftovers from the meal. With the high menu prices this was definately a negative.

Overall while the meal was ok it was nothing special, the prices were high and I doubt that we'll eat there again.

We have been going happily to Pacific Rim for years but noticed a change this time. The food was better! I had the Duck Red Curry and it was brilliant and the serve much bigger than I can remember from previous visits. Brilliant Thai food and the service is faultless.

Do yourself a favour and try this place out.

Love love love thier food, more authentic Thai than the other Berwick Thai places. Ginger Fish and red duck curry regular faves. We mainly get take away now and service has always been great, dining in they can be a bit slow but its better than being rushed.

We eat here a fair bit and have always been happy with our meals and the service.

The only draw back is they don't have a proper coffee machine if you want a coffee after dinner!

Take away meals are always good too!

Went out for dinner with a couple of girl friends and this was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was great. The restaurant wasn't too noisy and they didn't rush us, so we were able to really enjoy our night. We had a great night out!

My partner and I go here regularly for Thai. It is a great restaurant with fantastic food and service. We have a regular meal we order and love it. The waiters are very friendly and the room has a very homely feel. There is a great selection of food and drink as well.

Food was way beyond our expectation, the serves were more than enough. There were 3 of us, we had the $25 p/h banquet, we couldn't finish our meals because there was so much food. Every dish they presented was better than the one before. Tables were cleared as we finished each course. Byo and licenced, with a wide selection of drinks available
