We have waited for 16 days for two pods to be delivered from Brisbane to Adelaide and have just been told that they haven't even left Brisbane yet

I wouldn't recommend this business. Besides the fact that it's very expensive, POD was clearly tipped and everything pushed up against the door. Furniture damaged and scratched. I sent photos but got no reply.

Called for information. Was told I'd be called back - never was. You can't get a more basic failure of customer service than that.

Easy to deal with, excellent service, good price, would most certainly do business with them again. Very reasonable with their charges.

PODS container arrived at our house, we moved all our furniture and household belongings in, it was taken away for 3 weeks until we moved into our new house. The container was dropped off at our new location, and then picked up the next day.

They delivered on time,pod was secure and clean were very helpful and went out of their way to please, thanks

We sold our old house and settled our new house on the same day so it was a balancing act to arrange removal and storage of our belongings. My husband and I found PODS offered the services we required for such a move.

I found the customer service was exemplary, the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. I made some last minute changes and they were very accommodating even on a Saturday. The PODS driver was friendly and rang ahead to let me know when he was coming. PODS is also quite competitive compared to other removals and storage companies.

Overall, I found PODS to be a business I would recommend to all my friends and family. I congratulate them on a fantastic service.

We hired a POD for approx 2 months - the service we received was amazing, from the friendly service on the phone to the delivery driver, who had to turn the pod around when it didnt fit under a power line becasue of the upward driveway - when we requested for it to be delivered after the storage, it was delivered within a day and none of our stuff was damaged

I used PODS for a local move but I had to organise everything last minute due to a urgent house vacate/sale. All the PODS staff I had contact with were extremely helpful (great customer service is rare these days!) and thorough, and sympathetic to the urgency of my requests.
It can initially appear like the whole move with this service is expensive on paper, but when you break down the costs of storage/removalists at both ends of move/your own labour/time etc, PODS comes in under way under those total expenses.
I had a period of two months between my settlement date of my old place and the new one, and PODS stored both my containers at their facility (which you can access anytime if you need to).
For anyone planning to use PODS services, my advice would be to READ the info on their website (it is very clear!) about heights and widths and space requirements needed for a container to be delivered, and take some notes about your place, as the call centre booking staff are very thorough and ask quite a lot of questions to make sure you get the best service possible and the right size container for your needs (and so the delivery driver can do his job). They also gave me great recommendations of a company who could pack my unit for me so I didn't have to do ANYTHING except the initial inside-the-house box up of my stuff.
Ideally, take note of the local call centre/local managers phone numbers and emails if you are outside the US, as you can end up being put through to overseas (no extra cost to you though) if the call centre main line is busy. However, even the US team could help me to an extent with my query and booking info so no great drama!
There is no way I would bother with any other way to move house now that I have used PODS and would recommend them to anyone no matter what sort of move they are doing.

My wife and I moved from Sydney to Melbourne and it is a fantastic service. It was very easy the people we dealt with in the call centre right through to the drivers who delivered our container they were fantastic. Best of all we only loaded the containers once and unloaded. I would recommend these guys to all who need to move.
